Description

Join us for an unforgettable 2-day journey that takes you across the border to the stunning landscapes and rich culture of Armenia! Take in the views over shimmering Lake Sevan, explore the majestic Haghpat Monastery nestled in the green hills, and feel the ancient energy at the Garni Pagan Temple. Step inside the rock-carved Geghard Monastery, and witness the dramatic basalt gorge known as the Symphony of Stones. Wander the vibrant streets of Yerevan, enjoy a breath of fresh air in the forest resort town of Dilijan, and sit down to a home-cooked lunch with a local Armenian family—one of the most special parts of the journey. Choose between a 2-day or 3-day tour. The 3-day option adds even more: the cliffside Noravank Monastery, spa town Jermuk with its waterfall and mineral springs, or the iconic Khor Virap with views of Mount Ararat. Armenia two day tour

David acted as both our guide and driver for our planned itinerary for Armenia. He was prompt and his introduction was warm, pleasant and inviting. Throughout the many hours of driving we felt comfortable and safe. He encouraged us to sightsee at our own, comfortable pace and the included lunch was excellent.

Operator response

Thank you! We're glad you felt safe and comfortable exploring Armenia at your own pace with David. Providing a relaxed, stress-free journey is always our priority. Safe travels!

The best trip to Armenia!

Our group of three absolutely loved our trip to Armenia with Temo. We were so lucky to have him as our guide — he was incredibly friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Temo patiently answered all our questions and brought every location to life with deep and engaging stories. On top of that, he was an exceptional driver and got us back safely despite unexpectedly heavy snowfall, which we truly appreciated. Every one of us has nothing but wonderful things to say about both the trip and Temo — he is an awesome person and an outstanding guide. We feel very fortunate to have experienced Armenia with him. Maria, the tour company operator, was also fantastic. She was very supportive and responded quickly to all our questions before the trip. Thank you, Maria and Temo, for making our journey unforgettable. We truly enjoyed our time in Armenia! Temo you are the best!

Operator response

Thank you for the wonderful, detailed review! We are so glad Temo could make your Armenia day trip both memorable and safe - his driving skills are definitely an asset in that mountain weather! It was a pleasure helping you plan this. Thanks for trusting Real Georgia Tours!

Fabulous tour

This 2 day trip to Armenia was fantastic. Ze is such a special person. He took the time to discover what was important to us. Showed us all the amazing highlights of Armenia. We learned so much. He is very professional while being personable. I highly recommend this private tour and ask for Ze.

The Best Way to Experience Georgia & Armenia

We booked with Real Georgia Tours and had an excellent experience—highly recommend! Maria, the organizer, is incredibly responsive and on top of everything; she replies instantly and makes planning stress-free. Their tour guides, especially Zezva and Ando, were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to travel with. We booked somewhat last minute for a group of six, so the van transportation was a bit limited in comfort, but considering how reasonable their prices are, I would definitely request a more comfortable vehicle next time. Overall, this company is professional, organized, and offers amazing tours in both Georgia and Armenia. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting the region.

An excellent way to visit...

An excellent way to visit Armenia if short on time. Our driver/guide, Zezva was a wealth of knowledge. Best lunch stops also.

Fantastic Exploration and Cultural Experience

Our guide Temo was superb. Knowledgeable about all the sites and history we visited. Excellent command of the language. Masterful in navigating the chaotic roads and parking in Armenia and Georgia. He was warm and welcoming to answer any questions we had and take photos at key sites. This area has a lot of rich history mixed with very modern European Feeling (Republic Square). Would highly recommend if you want to take a few days to understand the natural beauty of Armenia and go to major cultural and historic attractions.

Operator response

Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the trip and had a great time with Temo. Hope to see you back in the region someday!

A fabulous way to see Armenia

Our driver and guide Temo was fantastic. He was an extremely safe driver, no matter what the conditions (rain, fog, snow etc). He was a wealth of knowledge and we had a very relaxing and informative time in Armenia while Temo took care of everything. The monasteries and churches were spectacular, as were the views when the fog cleared. It was like being back in the USSR at times...which was fun! We loved that Temo was a humanitarian who could see things from many points of view. We thoroughly recommend Temo as a guide, and all round lovely guy!!!! Kylie and Dave, Aussies living in London

Operator response

Thank you, Kylie and Dave, for such a thoughtful and warm review! We're so glad you had a memorable and relaxed trip to Armenia with Temo—he truly is a gem, both as a guide and as a person. Your kind words mean a lot, and we’ll be sure to pass them on to him. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again!

Great introduction to Armenia

The tour is very nice and the guide was flexible in meeting our needs. The car is relatively comfortable. Beautiful sights and enough time on every location. The traffic/driving is not like we are used to from home countries, it is more aggressive here and we saw segertal accidents on the road. Our guide also helped us to check in for the accomodations which was very kind. I recommend this tour for everyone curious in visiting Armenia.
