Best Egypt tour Package for 8 Days and 7 Nights

Magnificent 7-Day Egypt Tour with Memphis Tour. Two nights in Cairo with visits to the pyramids and G.E.M. Grand Egyptian Museum, then 4 nights on Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and one last night in Cairo. Accommodation (hotels and ship), bus travel with BC and of course the excellent tour guides Fakhr Omar in Cairo and Mohammad Ali on Nile cruise were really excellent. The organization of our correspondent Kholoud Mahmoud from Memphis was absolutely perfect: we were really excited! RECOMMENDED WITHOUT RESERVATION! Robert & Annalisa

Note: we have reached out to the tour operator who has ensured us that an internal review is underway. Let me start out with the good…the guides and transportation. Hissam, Magdi, and Ismail were great. They are knowledgeable, friendly, open to questions, and professional. All of our travel and guided tours were either just us or with a very small group which made for a very personalized feeling. The Cairo representative, Saif, was friendly and ensured everything was well-arranged at the touch points in Cairo. Transportation in all locations was well-arranged and of good quality. The drivers were friendly, professional, and safe. Now the bad…the accommodations. Both the hotel and Nile river boat fell well below the “4-star” mark. On the boat, the carpet throughout was dirty and smelled like old cigarette smoke (smoking is still allowed on the boat, both inside and out, and it is obvious). The cocktails served at the bar were terrible, so we avoided that after the first disappointments. The room was the worst. It had dirty carpet, the chair in the room had stains, the ceiling had a large hole with a wire hanging out, oak panel was twisted, and the light by the door kept falling out as the bathroom door rubbed it. The curtains looked more like old sheets than curtains with several seams coming apart. In the bathroom, the shower pan quickly filled up when showering and required the shower to be turned off three to four times during showering to prevent overfilling the pan. The caulking around the shower surround was cracked and had gaps resulting in water leaking to the floor. Overall in the room, the quality was poor with paint splatter, over painting, and painters tape left in several locations. The air conditioner worked well however, the thermostat was dangling and only added to the poor aesthetics. Additionally, the television didn’t work and there was never WiFi available anywhere on the boat as the WiFi was broadcasting, but no internet connection available. Furthermore, the pool on the upper deck was only partly filled, the tiling was damaged, and one side pool was completely empty. Having walked through several other boats as we boarded and off-boarded and observed from the top deck, I would give our boat a half star at most. Lastly, the hotel is labeled a 4-star hotel; however I have to disagree. The staff was great and the lobby was beautiful; however the room, including the bathroom is old and needs a good scrubbing (including the tile floors of the room, which left a layer of grime on my freshly showered feet). I would rate the hotel a 3-star at most. Overall, if you’re going 4-star tours and guides, this is a great booking, but if you’re looking for the 4-start accommodations to go with it, you may want to look elsewhere.

What an amazing trip! I trip I'll never forget! Visiting the temples, cruising the Nile, and experiencing the culture was 10/10. Youssa, our tour guide went above and beyond to make this trip fun. He's a wealth of knowledge and shared great information with us about the sites as well as Egypt. I definitely recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Egypt. An experience I'll remember forever!

Egypt was stunning. The history contained within the sites we visited was breathtaking. And our tour guide, Youssa Ali, was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable, and made our trip enjoyable and memorable.

This was an amazing adventure trip I got to enjoy with a group of friends. Our tourguide Youssa was extremely knowledgeable about the pyramid and took us to all the amazing sights. We visited Cairo, Esna & Luxor. While cruising the Nile river and the experience of going through the Esna Locks was a sight to see. The shopping was great and we had an excellent guide. My only concern was the train ride extremely bumpy and the sleeper cabin's needs updating.

Favorite part of the tour was visiting the pyramids, temples and cruising on the Nile river.. Our Tour company " Egypt Tour Club" along with our Tour Guide Youssa. Youssa was top class. He was very knowledgeable about the history so learned many new and interesting facts. Youssa was also very welcoming and friendly and I would recommend both Youssa and Egypt Tour Club to anyone visiting. ................................... Tour included a 10 hour overnight sleeper train from Cairo to Ashwan. I also enjoyed this experience because I prepared with Disposable bed sheets, body wipes etc. I strongly recommend you do your research to decide if you want to do this part of the tour as its not for everyone. The sleeper cabin was a tight fit but it was what I expected. Do your research!

Went with Egypt Tours Club and my guide of Youssa. It was a great experience lead by an experienced and passionate guide. As a teacher, I learned a lot from him and he made the experience worthwhile. The value of the trip and all we were able to experience in Egypt was a bang for my bucks. I would go again.
