This is supposed to be THE main thing to see in berlin. A tv tower. The magnum opus with branden gate and berlin wall. But let me tell you a secret: its just a tourist trap. I paid 27 e just to see the city from the windows, while hundreds of tourists take selfies there. Its pretty view, but not worth the 27 e. Then if you want to eat there thats twice as expensive. And menu didnt see that appealing to me + it takes forever to get your food, or even get your order in
Superb view of the entire city & beyond with a quick transfer from reception to observation deck , well organised from start to finish
Good organization, have come up quickly, was great view nice guy at the bar. Following VR experience for free
This is a must. The staff are super pleasant and welcoming. Fantastic venue and bar etc. We went at night and it was unreal. Stand at back of lift if you can. An absolute wonder of construction
The Berlin TV tower is a German landmark and worth visiting and paying the entrance fee only if the weather is good, so plan ahead according to the weather. Security is good at the location. We got a sunny day and the view is breathtaking. Once at the observation deck you can use the QR code on your phone that takes you to a 360^ map that labels the landmarks as you move around. 30 minutes is enough to see everything before the lift down. In my opinion the attraction is overpriced at nearly €30 pp. To put it in perspective it was only €23.50 to go up in a lift to the top of the Eiffel Tower which is an iconic European landmark. To finish on a positive, Alexander Platz is a 10 minute walk to the river Spree so we set aside the afternoon to do the 1hour boat trip (jetty nearby), visit the Cathedral opposite and then onto the tower. It was worth doing it that way round to get your bearings that helps with the aerial view. Plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby too. It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Berlin.
A walk up the TV tower, should be mandatory for all visiting Berlin. You get an amazing view and overview of Berlin. Walk around and experience the city, grab a beer and just experience life far down there. Lovely.
You get on a top of Berlin and can potentialy see the whole city. I recommend you go there at the sunset - the view is spectacular.
No tour guide arrived. No fast track as paid for and ignored my messages when trying to contact the company
This is overpriced for a view of the city. It is very hot on the observation platform, needs fans or air conditioning. We did the view with a drink package, the selection on drinks is not good you are better off buying a drink when you get up there.
It was great to go up. Some great views of the city and its many landmarks. Went early evening when not too busy. Good for 45 mins.
