Great way to end our tour of Vietnam! This dinner cruise was a definite highlight. Nhu was great getting us there on time, taking photos of us and making sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was lovely and the singers were great singing lots of well known songs.

We had a really great evening and got a very different perspective of the city from the river. The boat was excellent and the food too. We thought that we'd maybe just be sent a driver to pick up us... But actually we had Nhu as our own dedicated tour guide for the evening. He ensure we got to the right place on time and back again afterwards. He took some great photos of us, but left us to enjoy the meal and evening as a couple. Which was perfect. Highly recommend.

Our guide Dat met us at the hotel and was excellent in guiding us to the ship. He led us to our table and left us to enjoy our meal. The 4 course Japanese dinner was plated very nicely but the steak could have been better. The live music performers were very good and made for a lovely evening. The best part was the view. It was a lovely way to see the city. At the end, Dat quickly navigated us back to our hotel with ease. Overall a pleasant experience.

During our stay in Saigon, 4 of us did the river cruise with dinner on our final evening. The 2 hour cruise was good, allowing a very different viewpoint of the impressively lit buildings along the waterfront. FOOD AND MENUS. I had the Vietnamese menu which a mango and pomelo salad, an interesting soup, grilled grouper and a tofu pudding. The first 3 dishes were excellent; the tofu dessert wasn't to my taste. Margaret had the seafood menu which had a prawn starter, seafood chowder, salmon with cream sauce served with an excellent potato cake and green tea cake for dessert. All these dishes were very good.

We had a lovely evening on the Ben Thanh Dinner Cruise, especially enjoying the amazing night views of Ho Chi Minh City. Seeing the city lights from the river was definitely a highlight of the experience. The food was good and the service was attentive throughout the cruise. Staff were friendly and made sure guests were well taken care of. However, one downside was the lack of flexibility with the menu, even though the cruise was not full. It would have been nice if they could accommodate small requests. Another thing that affected our experience was that staff asked my husband to write a Google review and asked me to write a Tripadvisor review while we were still on the cruise, specifically encouraging us to do it on the spot. We chose not to, as we wanted to fully enjoy the moment without interruption. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great views, but the push for immediate reviews and limited flexibility slightly took away from it.

We were picked up from our hotel in district 1 and our tour guide stayed with us on the cruise offering photos and historical information about HCMC. The meal was very good though served not very hot. It was very windy but warm. The cruise was about an hour. Dinner was served at about 7:30 and we returned at 9:30. It was pricey but an indulgent evening that was enjoyed. The entertainment was nice. A keyboard player and 2 singers accompanied by canned percussion. 60s, 70s, 80s disco, pop and easy listening dance music. It was nice to see the city lights at night.
