Ben Duoc 'Less-Crowded' Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour

Description
Joy Journeys always care for our client's experience. All of our tours have a small group with maximum of 10 guests visiting Cu Chi Tunnels. Our group will spend most of the time at Ben Duoc Tunnels which is well-known as the less-crowded, less-busy, and more authentic experience time in Cu Chi. Our tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the war history of Vietnam by exploring the underground Cu Chi Tunnels. You'll have the chance to see the booby traps used during the war and explore the ex-US Army tank from the Vietnam War by touching it. Additionally, you'll be able to crawl inside the tunnels of Cu Chi and taste the locally grown Viet Cong food, tapioca, next to the tunnels. Finally, you'll witness the propaganda of Viet Cong soldiers in Tan Phu Trung Ward and experience the underground Hoang Cam kitchen. The highlight of the tour is when you can experience crawling into the Tunnels to feel what it was like during the war.

Guests will be picked up from the accommodation in District 1, District 3 and District 4 before the tour start. The pickup usually takes around 30 minutes. After the pickup, you will head to Cu Chi to discover the Tunnels history.
The Cu Chi Tunnels, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were an extensive network of underground tunnels that served as a critical strategic location during the Vietnam War. Constructed over several years, the tunnels spanned more than 250 kilometers and were made up of multiple layers, including living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were dug by hand, using rudimentary tools such as shovels, hoes, and picks, and the workers would remove the soil from the tunnels and conceal it in nearby fields to avoid detection. Navigating through the Cu Chi Tunnels was a complex task, requiring specialized knowledge and training. The tunnels were narrow, with a height of only a few feet, and were often filled with traps and obstacles, such as spike pits and hidden doors. The Viet Cong soldiers were trained to move silently and quickly through the tunnels, using their knowledge of the terrain to avoid detection.
The tour will ends back to your Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Traveler who wish to be dropped off near the airport, please inform us anytime possible.

Typhoon Honey took us on a fun and educational journey through one of Vietnam's most historical war sites. Great fun with the group too, with stops to shoot guns and see some handicrafts. At some point you will be given the choice to go 50m or 1m, choose 50m :)
We were very pleased with the tour with our tour guide Typhoon Honey. He was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and had a commendable knowledge regarding the Cu Chi tunnels and the entire history of the war. We found the half-day tour to be very pleasant, especially considering the distance of the tunnels from the city. We had a very nice day and would do the tour again at any time. Many thanks to Typhoon Honey for the exciting experience we were able to have and all the information we learned.

Kero was a great guide. His very knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and the important role the tunnels played in the conflict. It was a great experiencing the history. Highly recommend.
Kero was our guide and was very polite and informative. Not only was he a good tour guide, but he also gave us plenty of reputable local recommendations. The tour itself was great and it was just our family. Thank you again Kero, wishing you good luck and prosperity in your future!!!
It was an amazing tour! We visited some Vietnamese tunnels and bunkers, and after that we went to the shooting range. We also had a tour of the art factory. Our guide was incredibly positive, friendly, and energetic. He created a great atmosphere throughout the entire trip and filled the day with good vibes. His enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. I'm very grateful to him for such a wonderful tour. Everything was well organized and fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vietnam!
kero is a really enthusiastic and sweet guide! we had a good time talking to him on this tour
Kero made this tour absolutely amazing. His kindness, positive energy, and enthusiasm made the entire day so enjoyable, and he went out of his way to share information about Vietnam, local culture, and other places to visit throughout the trip. I’d highly recommend doing this early in your trip, as you learn so many helpful local tips along the way. The Cu Chi Tunnels themselves are absolutely worth visiting. Walking through the forest, learning about the massive tunnel network, and seeing the different traps and above-ground setups was incredibly interesting. Kero did a fantastic job bringing the history to life and explaining how everything was used. There is quite a bit of driving involved, so it’s good to be prepared for that, but Kero used the time well by walking us through the itinerary and sharing stories and recommendations throughout the drive. Overall, this was a really informative and memorable tour, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam.
We went on a noon tour with Kero. Despite the heat, our guide Kero made the trip enjoyable with his engaging style and personal touches to historical accounts. We felt the tour was professionally arranged and a good memorable use of our 6-hours.
