Equipment, changing rooms, lock box for valuables, warm showers and insurance all included Learn to surf at our Newquay Surf School in Cornwall and prepare to get highly addicted. Our Taster Surfing Lessons are aimed at total beginners and will introduce you to this super-cool and fun sport, teaching you the basics from beach safety to stand up surfing. Our Newquay Surf School is the only place to learn.

Our lesson was for 7 people and with 2 instructors (Lee-Roy and Kittow). Both were precise with instructions, very helpful and supportive (also to children). It was good fun.
Have an excellent time. It was a great experience and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I am an older person and have never surfed before but so was a bit unsure, but I really enjoyed it.

The surf teachers, Lee-Roy and Kittow made it really enjoyable, both great guides keeping us right to improve our form. Really enjoyed it!
George gave my partner and me a fantastic lesson. He explained everything clearly and was incredibly helpful both in and out of the water. We had so much fun and learned a lot throughout the session. We’ll definitely be booking with Newquay Activity Centre again and would highly recommend it.

Had a great first time sure out at New Quay. Jake was an exceptional coach and very knowledgeable. Awesome to have someone out there who celebrates the small steps of his students.
My 13-year-old son had a surfing course and was very well accompanied. He thought it was great that we would book the course again.
I went for my first surf session solo and from booking the activity to waiting to get going EVERYONE was so so kind and helpful. The session itself was SO much fun and in one 2 hour lesson I managed to stand up and ride a wave with the help of a great instructor, Sonny. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to surf and will definitely be back!
