Description
Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 vehicle that will lead us to the bridge for crossing the Preguiças River that gives access to the Maranhenses Lençóis National Park (PNLM), the park has approximately 155 thousand hectares. The lagoons are beautiful, delicious for bathing. The sunset is wonderful, but it's full of people. To get to Bonita, the road is long and tiring. Access is not easy, staircase with 165 steps and high dunes. Care with children, the elderly, people with pain in the spine, knees and etc. is not easy.

A must trip and you have to do it in the first afternoon when in Barreirinhas. Then go for a full day 4x4 to Atins. And for finale (if some budget left) take a flight over Lencois.
Rather than a tour, this is more of a transportation since the tour guide probably didn't speak more than 10 sentences even in Portuguese. I understand it's not a bilingual tour, but he made zero effort even trying to use translation app to explain what's going on with us (thanks to another couple who spoke also English helped us). The destination itself is amazing, beautiful sunset in the desert and swimming in the clear lagoons before that (plenty fish in the water!!!) tour agencies need to hire people who actually have a passion in "guiding" others!
A wonderful experience! The tour was beautiful, they took us to lagoons with less people at the time. The guide Anderson was exemplary, patient, attentive to everyone and fun.

Its a really good transportation and you have a enough time to explore and dip into lagoon. Hotel pick up and drop off was smooth
