Banteay srei and Angkor Grand Circuit with Tour Guide

Description
The best route that covers all the major temples of Angkor, with the least fuss, is what’s known as the Small Circuit and the Grand Circuit. You can complete both in two days, or much longer if you want to experience more detail and the seemingly endless hidden wonders. If time is limited, the Small Circuit can be completed in one day and covers the two most important sites, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom (inc. Bayon) plus smaller sites of choice. The Grand Circuit is a tour route of Angkor Archeological Park that extends the Small Circuit route and covers the lesser temples outside the central cluster.

Itinerary
Angkor Thom North Gate, or Dei Chhnang Gate, is one of the five gates (gopura) for entering Angkor Thom.
Preah Khan is a large and grand ancient temple at Angkor Archeological Park, Siem Reap. It was built in the 12th century under the reign of King Jayavarman VII (reign 1181-1218 AD) to honour his father, who built the nearby Ta Prohm to honour his mother. It is one of the must-visit temples in Angkor.
Only partially restored the site presents a very natural atmosphere and it’s usually very quiet here. Nearby is the small Prei Temple.
Take a stroll to the center of the Jayataka Baray where you’ll find this small and unique temple. Just to the north of here is a smaller temple, Krol Ko which is worth a look too.
Featuring some unique lintels and a lost temple feel, this is well worth the stop and won’t take up too much time.
The East Mebon is a 10th Century temple built during the reign of King Rajendravarman (reign 944 to 968 AD) at the center of the massive reservoir, Yasodharatataka Baray. Known as the East Baray today, it has been dry for many centuries, but in its day, this temple would have been an island reached only by boat, whose reflections shimmered on the water from afar.
A 10th-century site that combines brick, laterite, and sandstone. You can get beautiful views over the countryside here.
Banteay Samre, or Banteay Samrae, is perhaps one of the most beautiful of the smaller ancient temple sites almost rivalling the popular Banteay Srei site. It was built in the early 11th century as a Hindu temple under the reign of King Suryavarman II (reign 1113 – c.1150 AD) and later completed by King Yasovarman II (reign 1160 – 1166 AD) in the early 12th century. It is located about 10 km to the northeast of Angkor Wat and near the eastern edge of the ancient East Baray.
Banteay Srei Temple (or Prasat Banteay Srey) is one of the most beautiful ancient temples to be found in Asia, set amongst the charming village and farmlands just below the Kulen Mountain range, it features stunning and well-preserved narrated bas-reliefs plus ornate decoration from when craftmanship in the ancient empire was reaching its zenith. The site is located in Angkor Archeological Park around 35km north of Siem Reap city and 30km from Angkor Wat. Belonging to the 10th century, it was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

We did the Grand Circuit and Banteay Srei tour with our family of 5. Thy was a very knowledgeable guide, always picking a nice shady spot with a great view to share history about different parts of each temple. We even squeezed in a stop at the landmine museum as well, which was harrowing yet inspiring and well worth including; and a chance to see how locals make palm cake (with a taste test!) All around a great day that we would definitely recommend
