A great way to see and understand Baku

Despite some hiccups on the stating point and time, the tour was a good way to see Baku. The tour covered all the main sites that we wanted to see and we were given so much information about the places that we were seeing. I also appreciate that the guide was willing to go slow for us (as we were with a toddler)and allowed us to take a quick coffee break.

Good experience

Overall trip was good but few things to remember. 30 attraction as punch line is marketing gmibit. Essentially you are visiting Hyde park and old city , small monuments around the...this is all in 1/2 mile radius . Guide was good and knowledge, tour was planned for 4 hours but we pretty much finished in 2 and half hour. As soon as we enter the nazami street , last point in tour , guide wanted to leave me there although I had a private tour booked with pick and drop. It was a bit of disappointnent and felt a rip off . I think he should have given me walk through nazami street and drop me to hotel , especially because we were only 2 and half hour into tour that was planned for 4 hours. Any way. Guide arranged taxi for me and I returned to my hotel. It was private tour so I thought they would arrange private vehicle but instead you have to wait for taxi. Overall a good experience. I would have rated higher if guide had not tried to abandon me at the end

Excellent walking tour of Baku's area in/around the walled Old City. Very informative guide who paced the tour to my comfort level. Great pick-up/drop-off at my hotel. Friendly driver/guide.

Not the beat

Don’t t expect to see all the sights listed in the tour programme. And be prepared to be put in a random taxi and taken to a meeting point

Short Sweet Exploratory

The trip covered good essentials to familiarise about Baku. Ali is a great orator and story teller. Gave ample time to explore spots and well covered the different parts of the town. Perfect for day one! Only thing is they got confused with guest names and did not coordinate the pick up properly but later arranged a taxi to pick up which led to a little delayed start but all good otherwise
