Patrick was a very interactive, knowledgeable, and interesting tour guide. He guided us around the city, herded us easily on the metro, and shared delicious food. We decided Thomas’ street food was our favorite goulash of our whole 2 week trip. There was so much food we couldn’t eat dinner later.
Amazing food!! Having a small group of people made it more personalized and friendly. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our needs.
We’ve done food tours all over the world, and this was easily the most authentic one we’ve done. You can tell that it’s being run by people who care about the city and your experience with connecting the real local gems. 10/10!
With authentic local food this is an easy way to get to know Vienna. Our guide Maria was an excellent host, her knowledge of history and culture made it a pleasure to spend the day eating our way around the districts of Vienna. This is a must do guided tour.
If you can only do one tour while in Vienna, do this one. Our tour guide, Maria, had us traveling to many of the city districts, blending in like locals as we traversed by foot, subway and tram to sample many of the city’s food gems. The food was amazing-From the coffeehouse pastries in the morning to the authentic schnitzel we ended with, and all the other delights in between. Maria was fantastic, knowledgeable and so kind. The highlight of the trip had to be our time spent with Thomas, a street food vendor with delicious foods and a quick wit. Hat’s off to Maria, who made our day in Vienna one we will never forget!
A knowledgeable guide offered a wonderful introduction to the culinary offerings of Vienna and better still to its culture and history. It really improved our short stay in Vienna. Thanks, Maria.
A very nice tour with good authentic Viennese food. Our tour guide, Magdalena, was very nice and friendly and introduced us to some of the viennese café traditions as well as differnet types of desert and two different savory dishes. If you are wondering about the 5h duration (like me before the tour) it doesn't directly mean tasting a lot of different types of food, rather we spent some time commuting between restaurants and also chatting with the group while eating. Still I think most of us felt full at the end of the tour. P.s. the sausage is different from the German one (I even find it more delicious 🤭, sorry my german fellows)
First I must say that our tour guide Maria was outstanding. So professional, polite and knowledgeable. Thorough in explanations of history, culture and food. Now, the food! Wow! You will start with a delightful breakfast in a charming cafe, from there Maria took us all over Vienna through all types of public transport, this was very easy! :) each food stop is incredible. Your team has done an excellent job at your selections of food hosts. Not only is the food incredible, but the hosts are welcome and the environments are perfect for guests on a walking tour. If you visit and Vienne and don’t do this food tour, you are missing out! You will be full, no one leaves hungry!
We had a terrific time in Vienna with Maria on this food tour. We had just arrived by a morning train so it was a great introduction to the city and Viennese culture. Maria was enthusiastic and very delightful to be around. We laughed a lot and by the end of the tour we were so full (you’ll likely be able to skip dinner that night). Maria was so helpful in answering our questions and providing helpful information on using the public transportation in getting around the city. We would definitely recommend this tour
We can’t recommended this tour more highly, particularly when you first arrive in Vienna. Interesting and tasty foods from a variety of sources around the city and a great orientation to Vienna culturally and physically on the public transport. Maria was an excellent guide and provided lots of tips of activities and other eating/cultural activities to do. Definitely don’t eat before or after the tour!
