Itinerary
The tour will start at Saigon Water Bus Station
9:30 am: Reach the idyllic watery expanses of the Mekong Delta itself, known as the Delta of Nine Dragons for the 9 tributaries that splinter from the main Mekong River. 10:30 am: Visit a bustling, colorful riverside market full of local curiosities, tropical fruits and all manner of fish and shellfish. 10:45 am : Turn off the delta into small, winding canals of the Thu Thua area, shaded by a canopy of foliage as you drift along lazily. You will enjoy a rowboat trip along small canals of the Delta surrounded by thousands of coconut palms, you will visit a quaint Mekong village, and then a traditional farmhouse where you’ll sample coconuts and Mekong whisky. 12:30 pm: Enjoy a traditional Mekong Delta lunch at a local family’s house. After lunch, you will visit a special pagoda. 1:30 pm: Visit a colorful Cao Dai Temple, one of the highlights of our Mekong Delta Tour. 2:15 pm: Return to the speedboat and depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

We had such a fantastic day. We weren’t sure what to expect but we all loved it, despite the heat we kept cool in the open boat, speeding along, the mangroves were nice and shady as was the lunch spot with additional fans. My kids (8,11,13) loved feeding the monkeys bananas and it was a real highlight getting on the specially made craft to feed the crocs eels on uniquely designed wooden rods! Anna was brilliant, her English was excellent, she was super friendly, she gave great information and facts but also gave us time to be together as a family. Another highlight was the markets, we went to the ones in the city but this is much more of an experience, understanding more about the local way of life. Again we used the time wisely seeing it for just enough time, not getting too hot and keeping the kids interest before getting on the boat once again. We couldn’t recommend this more, great variety and the day flew by!
Great experience , very informative, Lucky our guide was very accomodating . Book d through Saigon adventures but Great experience. Fresh fruit and cold drinks throughout the day and delicious lunch ! Would definitely recommend !

Overall great experience. Really boutique didn’t see any other tourists— food was great, cool experiences and guide/team was super kind and helpful. Overall would reccomend. One tiny detail: would be great to have toddler sized life jacket, the jacket assigned to our 2 year old was way oversized.

This tour was very well organised, the guide was very instructive and helpful, spoke perfect English. The speed boat was very clean and fast. The food and drink that was provided in the price was very good. The different stop of points in the tour were excellent and very informative.

Great experience, perfect length of the trip, and many different stops along the way. Especially the market was exciting! In addition, it is a great experience just to sail on the delta.
We loved this tour. Tony is an excellent guide. We learned a ton while enjoying the river and sampling lots of fruit along the way. Lunch was delicious. Highly recommend!

the tour itself was nice but they should actually tell you that you never even get close to the Mekong river. That was rather disappointing. The guide Nguyen was very knowledgeable and made this a very interesting experience!
Nice experience but I was a little disappointed because we never even got close to the actual Mekong river. Therefore it is a little misleading. But the tour itself was a beautiful day out! Thanks to Nguyen who did an excellent job! Ah...one more thing. If you treat your outboard engine like the captain did it will not last another week...
