Atlas Mountains, waterfalls and Berber Villages with a guide

I had an amazing experience on the 6-day trek with Pathfinder Treks. From start to finish, everything was very well organized, and it exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to our guide, Nordin. He was incredibly knowledgeable, always prioritized our safety, and was happy to think along with the group to make the experience even better. His professionalism and friendly attitude made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trek. The food prepared by Hussein was absolutely outstanding. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and far better than I expected for a mountain trek. It was something we looked forward to every day. The highlight of the trip was, without a doubt, reaching the summit of Toubkal. It was an unforgettable experience with breathtaking views. Staying in the small Berber villages along the way was also very special and gave us a genuine insight into the local culture and hospitality. The accommodations were very good overall. The mountain refuge was a bit more basic and primitive, which is to be expected at that altitude, but everywhere else was comfortable and well maintained. What I really appreciated was how much we got to see during the six days. The route offered an incredible variety of landscapes, villages, and mountain scenery, making every day different and memorable. I would highly recommend Pathfinder Treks to anyone looking for an authentic and well-organized trekking experience in Morocco. We spent two incredible days in the red valley with our guide Hassan, who knows so much. We enjoyed the landscapes of the hike as much as the exchanges with Hassan. And we had the best tagine of the week prepared by our cook. Best moment of my stay in Morocco

I can’t say enough positive things about Rachid. He took care of my family from start to finish in Morocco and every moment of it was special. He took us off the beaten path and really bonded with my four kids to make the trip extra special. We did amazing hikes, had incredible meals and had unique cultural experiences that it seemed only he could provide. The kids enjoyed all the moments with him the best. I simply cannot recommend him highly enough. Moreover, for what you get the prices are surreal. We can’t wait to go do more of Morocco with him again in the future! I wish all tour operators worked like him!

We really enjoyed the 3-day hike through the Atlas Mountains. It was a great mix of climbing and descending. The local guide, Mustapha, was a great asset as he knew the mountain trails very well and shared lots of information about the villages. He perfectly matched our pace, and we were regularly surprised with delicious tea or snacks! Our cook, Omar, also prepared a delicious lunch and dinner every time!

My daughter and I had an incredible 3 day trek in the Atlas Mountains. The experience was brilliant from start to finish under the very helpful and considerate care of our guide Youssef and cook/mulletteer Hussain. They could not do enough to ensure our comfort and Youssef's passion and love for hiking and the mountains were a joy to experience. We learnt so much from him. I can thoroughly recommend Pathfinders Treks and can't praise our guide and cook high enough. I plan to return to do more treks with them.

Mountains, valleys, rivers, roses, kasbahs, villages, woods, naughty monkeys with their lovely babies, donkeys, …. And more !…. everything was interesting and we really enjoyed! Our three-day trek through the Atlas Mountains was an unforgettable adventure. The walks were breathtakingly beautiful – each day brought new landscapes, vistas and tranquility. What made this experience extra special was the flexibility of our guide, Lassim. Because we are big lovers of sunrises and sunsets, he spontaneously adjusted the route so that we could experience these magical moments. An absolute added value! Both our guide Lassim and the cook Idriss were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. You really felt that they did everything to make us feel comfortable. From preparing tasty meals to creating a cozy atmosphere, everything was fine. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t always good – we experienced a lot of wind, rain and even hail, and that in April – but that didn’t spoil the fun at all. It was just part of the adventure and only made it more memorable. Also a big thank you to Rachid, our contact at the organization, for the smooth communication and good preparation. Everything was arranged to perfection. We did not climb Mount Toubkal during this trip, but if we ever plan to do so, we will no doubt contact this organization again. Highly recommended for those looking for adventure, nature and warm people!
