Description

This hiking trip in the Atlas Mountains is probably one of a kind with its 4 hours walk to the Tidli Summit and also a real experience in the peaceful Imlil Valley. Your experienced local mountain guide will lead you on the quiet tracks through beautiful Berber villages, and across terraced fields away from the traffic on busy roads. Unlike most day trips in the mountains this one will treat you with a traditional home cooked Berber tagine mountain feast that will both give you a good insight into local life and provide you with commanding views across the High Atlas. Small groups, a flexible schedule and a hotel pickup from Marrakech make this one a very personal, close to nature Atlas Mountain experience.

Amazing day !

I had such a beautiful day in the Atlas Mountains! Everything was perfectly organized from the start, with a smooth and comfortable pickup that made the morning stress-free. We began with a traditional breakfast at a local argan oil cooperative, which was a lovely cultural experience. The food was fresh and delicious, and we learned how argan oil is made by local women — really interesting and authentic. The 4-hour hike to Talamrout village was absolutely stunning. The landscapes were breathtaking, with mountain views, small Berber villages, and peaceful nature all around. Our guide was amazing — kind, knowledgeable, and always making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and safe. The group atmosphere was also great; we shared laughs and enjoyed every step together. One of the highlights of the day was having lunch with a Berber family in the village. The meal was homemade, full of flavor, and prepared with so much care. It felt very special to be welcomed into their home and experience their way of life. After such a wonderful adventure, the drop-off was just as easy and well organized as the pickup. This experience felt real, warm, and unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the true beauty and culture of the Atlas Mountains
