Do not use this company. They did not show up for our scheduled tour. I sent multiple messages through the Viator app including one before we left our home country. I sent several others from Marrakech and finally had to get in touch with Viator customer service. I finally received a reply after that. In the two days leading up to the tour I messaged 3 or 4x to confirm time and pick up location. Again no reply. We waited for 15 minutes past the 9am start time. They did not show up. I contacted Viator customer service and miraculously the tour operator replied. They first told me they had been at the hotel since 8:50am, then said they tried calling at 9:15am. There were no messages. The first call on WhatsApp was at 9:30am. The lobby was was not crowded a few minutes before 9am when we were there. I find it unlikely a tour guide was there waiting. Why wouldn’t they have approached? My wife and I were the only ones waiting street side (where we have been picked up for every other tour). Again no one approached. The tour operator has since blamed me and said he Viator platform (saying messages are not coming through). I’ve taken several tours in Marrakech. Other operators have contacted me via WhatsApp and also through the Viator app. There are a lot of tour companies here. I would never use this one.
Umar was a fabulous guide. He looked after my boys as if they were his own. Reassuring and helping and even carrying my youngest over a particularly tricky part.
Really well organised trip. Communication on pick was good. Houssin picked us and looked after us all day. The car was clean a comfortable. I am usually a terrible passenger but Houssins driving was very good and we felt totally relaxed with him. Rashid, our guide was also brilliant, regularly checked that the pace was ok, and picked water up for us. The lunch was delicious. Definitely give you both 5 stars thank you for a great trip.
Such wonderful people! Couldn’t recommend Abdoul and his homies enough! They were so nice and accommodating. I miss marrakesh
Thank you so much for writing a review, we much appreciate it! We hope to welcome you here again
The views were stunning together with interacting with village people, the walks were testing but well worth the effort, the waterfalls were breathtaking, our guide was very attentive, informative and helpful
We had an excellent day out with Said. He was an excellent driver and took the trouble to check in several times that we were comfortable with the temperature in the car and if we were happy with his driving. He was very well informed and answered any questions we had. Said was warm, friendly and had a good sense of humour. I would recommend him highly.
Wholeheartedly recommend this trip into the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Our guide/driver Said was an excellent driver, safely and competently navigating through the mayhem of Marrakesh traffic and the steep winding roads of the mountains. He was extremely knowledgeable about all local things and patiently answered our many questions about life in Morocco. Fantastic lunch-well paced trip. Thanks to Said, we shall now be planning a trip into the Sahara using Toukbal Guide.
Adil was our guide, and he was wonderful. We really enjoyed his pleasant personality and his tour style. My husband and I were able to greet some of the local children and give them candy, we ate a delicious meal with a Berber family and buy argan oil from the women who make the products. Adil was able to set up a last minute camel tour for us and take us to a trading area - where local people buy food and clothing. We felt like we got to see a lot in one day. My only suggestion is that you bring a jacket or sweater - it was cool in the mountains.
Highly recommend this daytrip, which lasted from 9:30am until 5pm. Ibrahim our driver was very friendly and informative with impeccable English and was a very safe driver. We stopped on the way to learn about how Argan oil is produced from smiley ladies who run this roadside business as a female cooperative. It felt really safe on the roads up to the mountains. Hassan our walking guide was delightful and regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable, as well as explaining about village life. The circular walk was around 7k in total, taking in the waterfall, villages and a delicious tagine lunch. The snow topped mountains were breathtaking. A really enjoyable day to blow the cobwebs away after three nights in Marrakech. Wear comfortable waking shoes, lots of climbing!
The company are first. Class. Hussein, the driver who collected us from Marrakech, Karina, the host/manager at our start point and Mohammed , our walking guide were all brilliant. The route we took was a challenge to start but the waterfalls and the views were superb. We got to see areas that we would never have found on our own. Everyone was so hospitable and the lunch stop was excellent. Finally, Mohammed, what can I say…. He knows everyone, known affectionately as the Goat , he was superb. Definitely the GOAT. Do not hesitate to use this company
