Our driver messaged the evening before and arrived promptly the next morning. Issmail gave us a detailed background on the history of the area and a look into his life growing up in the Atlas Mountains. The kids loved the Camel ride and the hike to the waterfall. It's only 10-15 minutes but it is quite rocky in parts so not suitable for those with mobility issues, but then the word hike gives that away. The breakfast at the womans co-op was good, and whilst it's definitely a tourist trap, the locals rely so heavily on it. I didn't feel pressure to buy, but the prices were very unclear and misleading. I did purchase some bits for more than they were probably worth but that was my choice. I just hope the money filters down to where is will help most. The optional lunch has delicious and all in all we had a fantastic day out.
We went on this trip with our two young kids, and Lahcen took amazing care of us the whole way. The pick-up was right on time, which we really appreciated. We traveled in April and were lucky to catch the valleys in full bloom—absolutely beautiful. Our kids had the best time riding camels in traditional Berber outfits—it was definitely a highlight! The experience was both fun and informative. We learned a lot about camels and village life in the area. We also stopped by the Saturday market and visited a women’s cooperative to see how argan oil is made. They served us a light breakfast with bread and three different dips: peanut butter, olive oil, and argan oil—simple but tasty. Lunch was delicious and nicely presented: a three-course meal for just 70 MAD per person, plus 30 MAD for a big bottle of water. We were a bit nervous about the food since one of our kids has a nut allergy and sensitive stomach, but everything went smoothly and felt very safe. Overall, this trip was more than worth it. Great value, beautiful scenery, and a thoughtful, well-organized experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
An amazing hike to Atlas mountain along with camel ride and hospitality from the people of berber village. Many many thanks to tour guide Idris for making our trip memorable. Recommended for all tourists.
The driver and tour guide are very informative, easy to get along and looked after us. They always made sure that we were comfortable, managing the walk/heights and even any food allergies. They were really good in sharing about the Moroccan heritage and beliefs. Camel ride was a unexpectedly enjoyable but a lil bit scary because they were tall but well behaved.
Had a very nice private tour with our guide Babala. He told a lot about what there was to see and he knew many people in the villages. Good service and took all the time for you. In short, a successful day in Morocco.
Our guide was Lahcen and he did a great tour for us. I could knew much more about places we visited. He really enjoys his job and could answer many questions with patience and enthusiasm. I have booked the tour via booking and everything went smoothly. All communication is via WhatsApp and was easy. The tour well worth the time and money spent.
We had an amazing day driver and tour guide made us feel safe. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge about the surroundings areas we had a lovely day the waterfall was beautiful the orange juice was amazing and lunch was unreal over all a fantastic day would 100% do it again
The trip to Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys were activities and fun packed. We enjoyed every part of it and the tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The food was super and the history lessons very insightful. The only aspect lacking is an expirenced videographer/photographer.
We had a nice time overall. The hike had some lovely views of small hillside villages, and we liked our guide Nidali Abdou. The camel ride in the Agafay desert was also nice. The only hiccup was that the tour operators were not very responsive. There was some confusion because I was 100% sure I’d booked a private tour for me and my husband (the tour description says private a few times), but they tried to tell me it was a group tour. They responded to messages very slowly. Eventually, because I insisted, they gave us a private tour. However, it was annoying to have to deal with the miscommunication. If it’s not a private tour, they should specify that in the tour description.
It was an enjoyable road trip and hiking trip up the mountains. The waterfall was particularly amazing and the views from the car were beautiful. Our tour guide, Tahsin, was very welcoming and friendly and talked to us about the local village life. I would highly recommend this trip and this tour guide.
