Description
Exploring Morocco’s Atlas Mountains without a guide may mean missing out on Berber culture and scenic viewpoints. Yet, many group tours follow rigid itineraries that don’t allow for spontaneity during the day. This private tour delivers on all counts—with a local guide to arrange logistics and enable interaction with Berber villagers, and the flexibility to personalize your itinerary. A local lunch, optional camel ride, and Berber home visit are all included.

It was the most incredible experience. They picked us up from the hotel in a timely manner. Took us on an unexpected camel ride which we all enjoyed. Then we had snacks at a women’s argan oil factory and they explained their products. Lunch was excellent with tasteful dishes and very plentiful. We ended it with a hike in the mountains where we saw a waterfall and had fresh orange juice.
It was an amazing experience. Our guide Abdul Aziz was very much helpful and thorough in explaining throughout our trip. I will go back again next year.
A great trip, with a variety of experiences! Our tour guide was wonderful, giving us an insight into the history of the Berber villages & also not letting anything be too much trouble! They phoned the day before to let us know what time pick up was from our hotel, which was great & the transport was on time. Would definitely recommend!
Abdelaziz (guide) is very professional, he knows this region of Morocco very well, he is passionate. We recommend
We had a great day with Abdulaziz, he's really a great guide, very kind, attentive, who gives lots of information on the history that we didn't know, he takes the time to speak with everyone world. And we laughed a lot. Thanks again for the day. Don’t hesitate to bring a sweater
The tour was amazing. Abdulaziz was very friendly and informative. The best part was the visit to his family home with a tagine lunch and a chat about Amazigh (Berber) history. The hike to the waterfall was also really lovely. Everyone we met was incredibly warm and welcoming. Would definitely do this again.
I had a great tour guy abdulaziz he was amazing explained everything well. He doesnt rush anyone. Food taste amazing so is the views. Camel experience was amazing definitely going back again. Good experience everything went well. The pick and drop was very handy from hotel.
I really enjoyed Atlas mountains and Amazigh villages tour. Ibraheem (Abdulaziz) was a great tour guide. We did camel 🐫 ride, visited Amazigh villages, had lunch hosted by Amazigh family, then finally we did hiking🚶♂️. It was undoubtedly an amazing experience.
An excursion that exceeded our expectations. Ibrahim (Aziz to friends) was extremely kind, attentive and caring towards each member of the group. We started with a camel ride. We discovered a cooperative where we were able to taste some local products and see how they make argan. We were able to purchase a few products for a reasonable price. We then went to a small Berber village where we had lunch. The place had a breathtaking view, we did not fail to take incredible photos and videos there. And we ended with a walk of 1 hour and a half (I admit that at the beginning we were lazy) but honestly this walk was accessible to everyone and incredible because it took us to the Imli waterfall. We took some crazy photos there again, accompanied by our great guide to give us more history and explanations about the place. Honestly it was an excursion to do because it is truly incredible both in terms of the setting and the guide for whom we were all unanimous in saying that he was at the top. Huge crush. Thank you again for this fabulous day.
We had a fabulous day out with Abdulaziz and Abdul our driver. The trip gave us much more than we expected. Starting with clear communication around local pickup in a lovely comfortable minibus through to the visits we made. Abdulaziz is passionate and knowledgeable about the local area and is able to explain how history has affected language and writing and why Berber people are living in the High Atlas Mountains. The desert stop was just right, enough time to have a short camel ride and photograph the scenery. Moving into the mountains we had a lovely local lunch and a trek to the waterfalls. Probably the highlight of the day but it would be hard to choose. Definitely recommend this trip.
