Ourika Valley

Amaris was a great tour guide, we felt safe and well informed throughout. The trip itself was brilliant. The hike was moderately challenging but the views were absolutely spectacular and well worth the effort. Lunch on the river was delicious and the setting was beautiful. Argan oil experience was really good, very informative and a delicious light breakfast was included.

Wonderful experience! The...

Wonderful experience! The operator contacted me via WhatsApp the day before to confirm pickup time and location. The pickup was on time and the tour went as described. The day started off cloudy and rainy but by the time we got to Ourika Valley the sun came out; so the hike up was pleasant! The hike itself is very doable for anyone of moderate physical ability and my kids (age 9 and 12) had no difficulties. There were sufficient stops to take a breath and take pictures. Lunch was good, except that bees/wasps were such a bother! And monkeys in the area stole some people's food. That's not really something that the tour operator can do much about. Transportation was good - bus was roomy and clean with a/c. Would have liked for the tour operator to provide a little more history or information along the way.

Was okay

Interesting, overcrowded (mini Himalayan jam), not very nice. The waterfall was a joke. The argan oil farm was interesting, entertaining, likeable and expensive in the end. It's okay, though. The guide was good. The food by the river excellent.

Perfect trip

Our trip with Aziz was just perfect, very nice guy, helpful, a good driver who made our private tour a delight. The whole experience was wonderful, the visit to the berber house was fascinating, nice hike with the help of Muaad to the waterfalls (although it was a real pilgrimage), a delicious natural orange juice on the way down and delicious meal on the beautiful scenery on the board of the river. Perfect organized trip!!! Thank you again Aziz!!!!

A beautiful day!

Very good experience with our guide Said Ziouani! The silver oil cooperative is nice to do, the hike to the waterfall can be a bit full-bodied (short, very pretty but moments are a bit like climbing, come equipped!), the riverside restaurant with a nice and simple but tasty cuisine. And congratulations to our driver for navigating the traffic jams with a master hand and thank you for the recommendations and explanations! It's very touristy, everyone goes the same way, but it's good for a reason.
