Myself and my family have just spent the day with Mohammed and his team walking the Atlas. From the start our journey was excellent, the car used was huge and very comfortable. At each stage of our journey we were met by friendly and helpful staff who were very keen to ensure we were happy at all times. Included in our party was my 12 year old autistic son and my 75 year old mother - both were looked after impeccably and shared the use of our mule. All in all this was an incredible experience, so much so that my son will be coming back to do the Toubkal ascent. Thank you all
Top to bottom, this was a wonderful experience I'd recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech! Our guide was phenomenal, the scenery was breath-taking and the van transportation was very clean/comfortable. The day trek itself was moderate in difficulty, which was exactly as I'd hoped/requested. We had the opportunity to get off the beaten track and walk through the mountains to visit some beautiful waterfalls. We got to play with some baby goats grazing in the valley and had a lovely long lunch at the Kasbah du Toubkal (which was delish!). Tip for the Kasbah, bring your own wine if you're looking for a lunch buzz. :) As a group of 2 ladies, we felt totally safe and well cared for during the entire outing -- highly recommend!
Fantastic days hiking organised by Mohamed Hassan collected us from Marrakech and drove us & our Guide Hassan to Imlil where we were welcomed at Riad Jnane with Mint tea before setting off on our 3.5hr hike through the mountains and surrounding Berber villages. We finished with a traditional vegetarian lunch on the terrace Fabulous day out with kind and inspiring people, we’ll be back soon to do the Toubkal climb!
