Our guide, Andreas, was knowledgeable, and articulate. The tour was amazing and he led us to places in Athens I would have never known or found. Even if I had, I would not have known or appreciated the history of each neighborhood. He answered all questions from travelers from the US, Canada, Germany, and Australia. He was terrific and the tour is not to be missed!

Andreas led us through places I never would have discovered on my own — from bustling markets full of life (the meat and fish markets were unforgettable!) to a tucked-away café in one of Athens’ hippest districts. Each stop came alive through his storytelling, as he seamlessly connected modern Athens with its ancient past. What I appreciated most was how he wove historical references into the city’s present reality, helping us understand how Athenians live, think, and celebrate today. I came away feeling like I’d learned as much about Athenian *culture* as I did about the city itself. Locals know all the best places to eat and this tour provides you with that knowledge and many delicious treats. Pavlina was a excellent guide who explained to us the fascinating history that entwines food and Greek culture through the ages in one great tour. We had a really fun day. We explored parts of Athens we would have not found ourselves and and ate a good variety of yummy Greek food. Thank you Pavlina we will highly recommend the tour to our friends.
