Amazing layover experience

Our guide Maria was amazing! Super friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and a skilled driver. Communication was excellent and her recommended time slot reservation for Acropolis was perfect. She took us to several amazing locations dropping us off and picking us up with clear directions and as close as possible and even provided water to us. Can’t recommend enough!!

Operator response

Thank you so much for this amazing review and for recommending our services so highly! We are absolutely delighted to hear about your experience. Maria was thrilled to read your kind words. She always aims to be as helpful and approachable as possible, and she was especially glad that her advice on the Acropolis time slot worked out perfectly for you. Navigating busy archaeological sites can be tricky, so helping our guests time their visits right is something we take great pride in. Providing clear directions, dropping you off as close as possible to the sights, and keeping you refreshed with cold water are all part of our commitment to a stress-free, premium service. Thank you for being such wonderful guests. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Greece for another seamless adventure! Warmest regards

Incredible

We only had a short time in Athens and this private city tour turned out to be exactly what we needed. Visiting the Acropolis and seeing the Parthenon up close was incredible. We also saw key highlights like the Panathenaic Stadium and Syntagma Square, which gave us a full picture of the city. The whole experience felt smooth and well organized, and having a private driver like Dimitrios  made it much more relaxed. If you want to see the main sights of Athens without stress, this tour is a really solid choice.

Operator response

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are delighted that we could help you make the most of your short stay in Athens. The Acropolis and the Parthenon are truly breathtaking, but we believe that seeing the Panathenaic Stadium and the changing of the guards at Syntagma Square is what completes the Athenian experience. It is great to hear that you felt you got a "full picture" of our city in such a short time! Dimitrios was very happy to be your driver for the day. He always strives to provide a smooth and stress-free environment so that our guests can focus on the beauty of the sights rather than the logistics of city traffic. We will be sure to share your compliments with him! We hope your brief visit left you with a desire to return to Athens for a longer stay in the future. You’ll always be welcome back! Warm regards

Athens Private City Tour you need to do.

As first-time visitors to Athens, we wanted something that would help us understand both the ancient side of the city and its modern atmosphere, and this tour did exactly that. The Acropolis was of course impressive, but I honestly also loved driving through the different neighborhoods and hearing small stories about daily life in Athens today. Our guide was easy to talk to and happy to answer random questions, which made it feel more personal than a standard tour. The pace was comfortable, and we had enough time for photos without feeling rushed from one stop to the next. A great option if you want a complete and enjoyable introduction to the city.

Operator response

Dear Sasa Thank you so much for choosing us for your first visit to Athens! We are delighted to hear that our tour provided the "complete introduction" you were looking for. It’s great to know that you enjoyed the contrast between the grandeur of the Acropolis and the everyday charm of our local neighborhoods. We truly believe that the soul of Athens is found not just in its ancient stones, but also in the small stories and the daily rhythm of the city today. Our drivers take great pride in being flexible and approachable, so we are thrilled that you felt comfortable asking those "random questions"—that is exactly what makes a private tour so special! We are also glad the pace felt right for you; we always want our guests to have plenty of time to capture those perfect photos and simply enjoy the moment without feeling rushed. We hope this experience was just the beginning of a long-standing love for Greece. Enjoy the rest of your travels! Warm regards

Viator Cab Ride WHAT!!

We were picked up by a cab. Driven to locations, then we bought tickets and a guide. If you want to spend $200 for a cab ride, nothing else, this trip is for you. I would like a refund or credit. Cheaper with Uber with a nicer ride

Operator response

Dear Sol_R, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the service provided, as there seems to be a misunderstanding of the tour description. • Service Description: As clearly stated in our tour details on Viator, this is a private tour with a professional driver. It is explicitly mentioned that entrance fees to archaeological sites and a licensed tour guide are not included in the price. Our goal is to provide seamless transportation and local insights, allowing guests the flexibility to explore sites at their own pace. • Communication During the Tour: Throughout the entire 5 hour duration, no concerns or issues were raised to our driver. On the contrary, the itinerary was followed exactly as described. In an effort to provide exceptional service, our driver even offered to take you to additional sights and extended the tour time beyond the original agreement. • Your Experience: Despite our driver's willingness to show you more of the city, you indicated that you were too tired to continue after visiting the main highlights. In fact, you requested to return to your ship and spent the return journey resting/sleeping in the vehicle, which suggests that the itinerary was quite comprehensive. • Refund Request: While we respect every guest's opinion, we find it unfair to use a review rating as a tool to demand a refund for services that were fully rendered according to the booking terms. Comparing a specialized private tour to a standard ride-share service overlooks the value of a dedicated vehicle, a planned itinerary, and a driver who waits for you at every stop. We take pride in our service and always strive to go above and beyond for our guests. Had you read the "Inclusions/Exclusions" section of your booking, we believe your expectations would have been perfectly aligned with the high-quality service we delivered as you can see in our reviews. Best regards,

A day in Athens.

If you want to see the best of Athens without feeling rushed, this private city tour is the perfect choice. We visited the Acropolis, stood right in front of the Parthenon, and explored several important landmarks around the city including the Panathenaic Stadium and Syntagma Square. The private vehicle was comfortable and the schedule was flexible enough for photos and short stops. For first-time visitors looking for a well-organized Athens highlights tour, this is an excellent way to experience the city. Our driver Maria was awesome and very helpful.

Excellent Half-Day Tour of Athens — Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic half-day tour in Athens with our amazing guide, Maria. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and informative. In just a few hours, we were able to see many of the city's highlights, including the Greece Basketball National Team stadium, the iconic Acropolis, the Athens Panathenaic Stadium, Syntagma Square, the Hellenic Parliament building, and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. One of the highlights was witnessing the changing of the guards at the president's residence — a truly memorable experience. We also had a chance to see the beautiful Athens University, which added a cultural touch to the tour. The tour included seamless transfers from the Piraeus port to the Athens airport, which made everything convenient and stress-free. Overall, it was a perfect way to see the city's top sights in a limited amount of time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!
