Athens City Tour with Acropolis & Plaka from Piraeus Cruise Port

George was great!! Wonderful experience. My family really enjoyed. Super hot day though but once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent trip. Good communication before we were picked up at the cruise port. Great commentary on the way to the acropolis. Plenty of time to explore, no queueing to get into the acropolis. We were given the opportunity to stay longer with free HOHO bus tickets, but we chose just to get dropped back at the ship. Recommended.

Although the tour guide and company were very communicative and informative, the tour was limited. We stopped at the government building to see the officially dressed guards. It was lame. (Please know that unless you are on crutches or in a wheelchair, you cannot use the elevator and will have a lot of stair climbing to do. It is a hike up. The Greek government is not good about caring for the tourist sites. Staff are tired and frustrated and they messed up our entry for the group which meant we waited in the heat extra long. Restrooms are minimal and usually run down with no TP. No water fountains either). We then drove to the Acropolis for entry. We do appreciate the tour guide and bus driver, however it would have been preferable to have dropped the government building and call this a transfer to the Acropolis with time to see Plaka at the base.

The bus is nice, our tour guide gave us some history of the town. Stopped once to see the changing of the guards and then to the acropolis. For the price it was a nice tour for cruisers as it provided transportation for the port, but not too much more than transport.

Would not recommend!!!!! Could not find tour at Terminal B . I finally found the company , didn’t realize from viator ad it was a hop on hop off bus. They scanned my QR code and gave receipt but didn’t get us tickets into acropolis. The headphones didn’t work going to Acropolis , very staticy. We paid for tickets into acropolis , and were given NO information. It was not what we were expecting at all. The workers at acropolis were more helpful than bus company. I called twice about needing prepaid passes for entrance into acropolis and we were hung up on twice. Poor communication.

Great tour through the city. Guide was a great communicator and very knowledgeable. Acropolis was amazing. Bring water because it’s very hot in the sun.

The tour was without a guide, the hostess only accompanied us to the bus and the audio guide was only on the bus!!! The Acropolis is wonderful, but a bit sterile without a guide.

Very organized trip, George was great. Would recommend the trip to anyone who wants to save time and not get stuck in Athens traffic.

Nice clean bus easy to find outside pier. Tour guide George very nice but gave me misinformation. I am semi mobile with a disabled ID.I can walk but not a steep mountain like Acropolis.. He directed me to.an easier path but that was too hard. My wife went up and saw golf carts on the way up. Questioning the cart driver, she was told I qualified for a ride to an elevator which George told us nothing about. Telling him that on our way back he apologized but said last time it was closed. Needless to say, I missed out on a once in a lifetime Acropolis visit. George seemed informative but that really messed up my tour.

Good choice for easy transportation to the center of Athens. The guide was clear and helpful. I was disappointed the tour did not include a guide for the Acropolis, and the audio option page didn’t work well:
