Athens by Night Walking and Wine Tasting Experience

Excellent and informative walk through central Athens taking in the Zeus temple, botanical gardens, parliament building and the Plaka district to name a few. The tasting of Greek wines accompanied by cheese and charcuterie rounded out the evening. Penny , the tour guide, is knowledgeable and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

Fabulous and informative evening with Penny. We walked past some of Athens old sites and through the Plaka area to where we had the wine tasting. The wines were delicious as was the cheese and meat platter. Would highly recommend.

Penny was a wonderful hostess to show us around her Athens and introduce us to Gyros & Loukoumades. She truly gave us “The Flavors of Greece” as well as an excellent overview of so many historical sites in the city. Her style is warm, bright, gracious, patient, and highly informative. A fabulous evening walking around vibrant Athens.

I had a great experience on this tour. Since it ended up being just me, it felt very personal and relaxed. Walking through Athens at night was beautiful, and the wine tasting was definitely the highlight. The knowledge shared about the Greek wines, including the history, regions, and tasting notes, was explained in a really engaging way. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers.

Penny is the best tour guide! We walked together through Plaka, saw the Guards in front of the Parliament, and she explained every detail behind this tradition. She also knows everything about wines because she is a sommelier! Loved it!

That was an excellent experience in Athens city! Very well spent night in Athens center where we had the chance to see things and places from another perspective!

This tour was awesome! We got to see so many amazing historical sites and Bill, our guide, made it all super interesting and fun. He really knows his stuff! We ended the day at a cozy wine bar where every wine we tried was really great!! Such a fun experience – definitely recommend!
