The guide just dropped us off at one location and never came back to pick us up. When I called the office the Yamadic tours said "oh we can come back for you if you want to.."
We are particularly surprised by your description, as it does not in any way reflect the way our tours operate. We would like to clarify that the specific program includes multiple stops and transfers according to a clearly defined itinerary, which is provided to all participants in advance. It is therefore not credible that what you describe could have occurred, namely that guests were left at an archaeological site and not collected, as this would mean the complete failure of the scheduled tour operation. We fully respect the right of every visitor to express their opinion regarding the guide, driver, or overall experience. However, the specific allegations made in your review are not consistent with the actual execution of the tour and are therefore rejected as inaccurate. The quality and reliability of our services are consistently confirmed by the large volume of verified positive reviews we receive and the thousands of guests we serve without incident. In such cases where a review directly contradicts the documented operation of a tour, its credibility is seriously called into question. While we will not engage in unfounded speculation regarding intent, including possible competitive motives, we consider it necessary to publicly clarify the facts in order to protect future travelers from misleading information..
Only saw 2 of the sites listed on itinerary where the website said we would visit about 8 places. We could have gotten Uber to take us to this places at a fraction of he cost. We simply had a driver....added no value to the trip. We weren't allowed to get our tickets until we were in his car. I had asked to do earlier to save time. In his card we tried 4 credit cards....we had used on our trip....finally a 5th one work. So frustrated before the site reached!! We pd $300 for this....plus ticket cost to Agro and Acropolis...I would never booked another trip through you.
Dear Customer According to the messages you exchanged with our driver, in which you thanked him for the wonderful day you had, it is clear that you were satisfied with the experience provided by our company. Based on the details you also shared with him, it appears that your review actually refers to a different tour you had taken with another company the previous day, which you described as a disappointing experience. It seems that this review was mistakenly posted on our product instead of the company with whom you experienced these issues. Unfortunately, we are now placed in the difficult position of receiving a public review that does not reflect either the quality or the high standards of service we consistently provide, as demonstrated by the reviews from our many satisfied guests. We kindly ask you to review the matter and take the appropriate steps to correct this misunderstanding by posting your review under the correct tour/company. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Kind regards Yomadic Team
This is the first private tour we have taken & it was marvelous! Christos confirmed our pick-up time & location, sent a picture of himself & a description of his vehicle the morning of our tour. Upon starting our tour he asked us about ourselves & our interests & what we really wanted to learn/experience on our tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, an excellent storyteller & brought the history to life - focusing on that in which we were interested. Unlike many pre-planned group tours we read about, no time was “wasted”. It was an amazing day! Christos taught us a great deal, we laughed a lot, we saw Athens in a way & with an insight we probably would have missed. We definitely recommend Christos as a guide!

Alex gave a phenomenal tour! He really helped us to see the path the Apostle Paul had to take in order to bring the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. Alex showed us his historical landmarks, and helped us to see some of the sites where Paul was in the struggles that he faced. It really made history. Come alive! We couldn’t have chosen a better tour guide!
Thank you so much for your beautiful and heartfelt review. We are truly delighted to hear that your experience was so meaningful. Following the footsteps of the Apostle Paul is a powerful journey, and we’re so glad that Alex was able to bring that history to life for you in such a vivid and memorable way. Understanding the challenges Paul faced and standing in the very places connected to his mission can be deeply moving, and it means a great deal to us that you felt that connection. Your kind words about Alex’s knowledge and guidance are sincerely appreciated. He is passionate about sharing both the historical and spiritual significance of these sites, and your feedback affirms that dedication. Thank you again for choosing to tour with us. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back to Greece for another meaningful journey in the future.
Amazing day! We booked the private tour and our guide, Chris, was the best guide we had in Greece! While not a licensed tour guide that can go in each site, he was very, very knowledgeable and prepared us well for the things that we were going to see, and provided depth beyond just the basics, often exceeding what some of our other licensed guides gave us on other tours. Chris is warm and humorous, and one of the highlights of our trip. On this specific tour, he also took us to a fabulous lunch spot, away from the tourist areas. The food was amazing! All home made family recipes, many of which we had no idea what we were being served. Best food we had on the trip. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to get Chris!
Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing day and that Chris was the best guide you had during your time in Greece. While he is not a licensed guide permitted to enter the archaeological sites, it means so much to know that his knowledge, preparation, and depth of explanation exceeded expectations and even compared favorably to other experiences you had. Chris truly loves what he does, and his warm personality and sense of humor naturally create a relaxed and memorable atmosphere. We’re especially happy that the off-the-beaten-path lunch spot became such a highlight — authentic, homemade Greek food away from tourist areas is always something special! Your recommendation means the world to us, and we’re grateful you chose our private tour. We hope to welcome you back again someday — and we’ll make sure Chris is ready for round two!
