We drove with Dimitris Tabone. Very professional and friendly, he greeted us at the airport gate, helped with the bags, got us situated and provisioned with water, and gave us great insights to Athens, Greece, and the people while driving us to our hotel. Great experience, would recommend!

There were issues with our original departure flight from Chicago and while in flight we were cancelled from our connecting flight w/o our knowledge because we were in flight with no phone communication until we landed in Munich. We were supposed to have a layover in Munich but didn't. Instead we were put on flight #1752 that was boarding when we landed. Therefore we were fast-tracked directly to the connecting flight with no time in between and I was unable to connect with Viator until we reached Athens. When I tried to communicate this to the driver he called me a liar and said the flight I'd originally provided 9311 landed on time. Clearly he didn't understand when I informed him we were cancelled from that flight which is why we were not on it when it arrived. I was exhausted my family was tired and one of us was I'll and the driver told us to get to the hotel on our own. Then he accused me of talking to him like he was trash and refused to refund me eventhough no one picked us up. I really don't understand, because surely I'm not the 1st traveler this has happened to. I have 3 bookings with Viator spanning the course of my trip and I couldn't understand the reason for this guy's rudeness and refusing to pick us up or refund my money.

However, we would like to clarify that the flight information provided in your booking was Flight 9311, and we did not receive any notification regarding a change to your itinerary before your arrival. Our driver monitored the flight details that were provided to us, arrived on time, and waited at the airport for more than two hours beyond the scheduled arrival time. Since no passengers arrived on the flight information we had on file and no update was received from you during that period, the transfer was ultimately considered a no-show. While we sympathize with the difficulties caused by your airline's last-minute changes, it is unfortunately impossible for us to track or anticipate a new flight unless the updated information is communicated to us. Had we been informed of the flight change, we would have made every effort to adjust the pickup accordingly. We respectfully disagree with the statement that no one was there to pick you up. Our records confirm that the driver was present at the airport and remained there for an extended period waiting for your arrival. We regret that your journey was stressful and wish you and your family a pleasant stay in Greece.
