Follow Whitehall, exploring the Treasury buildings, the Cenotaph, and a quick stop at the Prime Minister's residence at 10 Downing street, ending at what is left of the Palace of Whitehall.
Walk through the ceremonial arch at the Horse Guards Parade, passing by the Household Cavalry and continuing on past St. James’s Park toward the Mall.
Follow the ceremonial route up the Mall from Admiralty Arch and stopping at St. James Palace, home to the monarch for over 300 years.

Samantha’s walking tour was a highlight of my time in London. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and love of Westminster and architecture were excellent. She punctuated the illuminating description of the beautiful architecture of London's famed buildings with fascinating historical context, and charming anecdotes. This small tour was so much more personal than some of the more hectic, larger tours I have experienced. The length of the tour was just enough not to be tiring but long enough to learn and enjoy a great deal. Ending the tour in time to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace was a bonus. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors and Londoners alike!
