We had a fantastic day at Aquopolis Torrevieja and would definitely recommend it for a family day out. We visited with our 12- and 9-year-old, and both had a brilliant time. There was a great selection of rides, and plenty to keep them entertained throughout the day. We had the Platinum VIP Pass, which really added to the experience. The unlimited food and drinks were a great bonus, and we soon realised that you could go up and get up to three items at a time. This included drinks, ice creams and even crisps, so it was really convenient and meant you could easily grab something whenever you wanted without having to keep going back and queuing. The VIP area was also a great feature. Having somewhere comfortable to sit in the shade was particularly welcome in the middle of August, when the sun was incredibly hot. The shower facilities were another bonus and made it much easier to freshen up during the day. The park itself was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be, even with the obvious language barrier. Nothing that a translator app couldn't help with, though! Overall, we had a brilliant family day and felt the Platinum VIP Pass was well worth it. The combination of the rides, unlimited food and drinks, and the VIP area made for a really enjoyable and relaxing day. We would happily visit Aquopolis Torrevieja again
What a nightmare place. Started badly a queue to get parked was massive as only one person taking payment. The we got there we found in peak period a fair number of rides/slides were closed for maintenance. This caused major queues for few remaining open park slides. We decided to leave early, the queue to complain was also major with heated arguments going on. A rammed full park with many features offline, terrible terrible terrible. My daughter treat me for my birthday, it’s was sad for her.
We ignored bad reviews on this waterpark, and I wished we hadn’t. This waterpark was so busy. Not just your usual queues for slides of say 10-15mins. We waited in a 1 hour queues for rubber floats to go on the slides! Some areas are shaded in the queues but other areas are completely in the sun, and it’s really uncomfortable waiting like that. We came with a mixture of ages 18, 16, 9, 7, 5, 35 and 70. There are not enough rubber floats to accommodate how many tickets they are selling. They also need more medium slides for 7-9 year olds. When we went black hole was closed, rapids were closed and the four glider slides. In meant that there weren’t really enough running slides to accommodate the capacity of tickets sold. In the whole day we only managed to get on a handful of slides. We’d usually managed to go on most of them at different water parks The wave machine was good, and they did aqua zumba dancing there too. You can take your own food in and I would recommend doing this, everyone seemed to take cool boxes in.
Went here with family of 11, all ages. Booked online and no where did they state most of the rides were closed on the website. When staff was asked about the closed rides due to "maintenance", if they would open during the day they just shrugged their shoulders and looked away. Nobody knew anything. Went to information to get a refund after an hour of doing nothing but wait in lines of the few rides that were open. They offered tickets to come again which was ironic when they couldnt even tell us when the rides would be opened again and we are traveling back home in a few days. Would not even reccomend this place even if all the rides were open.
Way too many people in the park, please cap numbers. Ridiculously long queues, a speedy pass was 40 euros on top of ticket price which we did not pay. Not worth it
The park was overcrowded, the slides were not worth it after waiting in line for an hour, and the pools were dirty. The fast pass should not be a thing, as the queue is never ending when the ones with fast pass just jump in front of everyone else who has been waiting for 45 minutes. We travelled with 5 kids ages 9-14. will never come here again. Should be a max limit in the park so people can enjoy it more. Also the water wave is not worth waiting for. Go enjoy the beach instead and save your money!
Park in my opinion was over capacity. It was not pleasant having to wait an hour for a mediocre 30 second water ride. Paid 137 Euros for 4 of us, parking an additional 6 Euros and then 10 Euros for a locker. Managed 3 rides throughout the day and decided to leave after trying to relax in the jacuzzi except it was full of scummy water, so left.
We spent a fantastic day at Aquopolis Torrevieja. We were a family of ten people, with six children (four teenagers and two younger ones), and we all enjoyed the experience very much. From the first moment, the staff was very kind, attentive, and willing to help, which made everything very easy. We booked a VIP cabana and it was an excellent decision. It was very comfortable, with shade and a perfect space to rest, eat, and have a place to gather during the day. In addition, it was very well located, which made the visit even more comfortable. The teenagers had the Speedy Pass and it allowed them to enjoy the attractions with practically no waiting, so they made the most of the park. The little ones also had a great time and there were options for all ages. During the day we bought coffees and ice creams inside the park, and both the quality and the service were very good. All in all, it was a fantastic day for the whole family. A highly recommended park, with a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and an experience that we would undoubtedly repeat. Many thanks to the entire Aquopolis Torrevieja team!
Very good place to spend the day
It is the best water park I have ever been to, with the best slides, and I would repeat the experience 100%.
