Full-Day Angkor Sunrise & Kompong Phluk Floating Village Sunset Tour (Up to 12 Hours) Join one of our most popular small group tours combining the magical Angkor Wat sunrise with a peaceful boat tour at Kompong Phluk Floating Village during sunset. Start your day early with a half-day visit to Angkor Wat, where you’ll witness the breathtaking sunrise and explore the magnificent temple complex. Later in the afternoon, travel in comfort by air-conditioned vehicle to Kompong Phluk, a fascinating stilted village on the Tonle Sap Lake. Here, you’ll float alongside local homes, schools, and markets and experience authentic Cambodian life on the water. This interactive tour includes a complimentary English-speaking tour guide, motorized boat ride, community fee, cold towels, and iced bottled water provided in the vehicle. Breakfast is included, and boat fees are covered.

Our Siem Reap Shuttle Tours Office serves as the main meeting point and waiting lounge for all travelers joining our shared and private tours. Conveniently located near Nearydey Coffee and just a few minutes from City Angkor Hotel, it’s easy to find and close to most hotels in Siem Reap city center. Guests can relax at the lounge before departure, meet their tour guide, and receive important tour information. Complimentary water and comfortable seating are available while waiting for your driver. Morning Tours: Departure at 5:00 AM (hotel pickup starts from 4:40 AM) Afternoon Tours: Departure at 2:30 PM (hotel pickup starts from 2:00 PM)
Enjoy a 3-hour visit at Angkor Wat, beginning with the breathtaking sunrise followed by an in-depth guided exploration of the temple’s stunning architecture and history.
After visiting Angkor Wat, continue to Srah Srang, the ancient royal bathing pool, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing breakfast included by the water
Continue to Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its giant tree roots growing through ancient stone walls, creating a stunning blend of nature and history — known worldwide as the “Tomb Raider Temple.”
Visit the magnificent Bayon Temple, located in the heart of Angkor Thom, famous for its 216 smiling stone faces and detailed carvings that reflect the glory of the Khmer Empire.
After visiting all the highlights, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive back to your hotel in Siem Reap city, marking the end of a truly memorable half day tour.
Meeting Point: The meeting point is at Nearydey Coffee, where our fancy lounge and comfortable waiting room are located. Guests can relax and check in before the tour. The Floating Village Tour departs from here at 2:30 PM, so please arrive a few minutes early to get ready for your afternoon adventure.
Visit Kompong Phluk, a traditional stilted village on the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. Explore the wooden houses built high above the water, take a boat ride through the mangroves, and experience the peaceful local lifestyle. As the day ends, enjoy a beautiful sunset over the floating village, a perfect way to finish your tour

Pickup Locations & Times
Morning Tour – Angkor Sunrise: Hotel pickup starts from 4:40 AM. Travelers are advised to be ready in their hotel lobby for pickup by our tour guide and driver. By 5:00 AM, the tour will depart from our Siem Reap Shuttle Tours waiting lounge and head to Angkor Wat to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise before exploring other highlights of the Angkor complex. Afternoon Tour – Kompong Phluk Floating Village Sunset: Pickup for the afternoon tour starts at 2:00 PM from travelers’ hotels. Guests will then travel comfortably to Kompong Phluk, where they can explore the stilted village, take a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the floating village before returning to Siem Reap in the early evening.

Very knowledgeable guides, amazing experience to go to Ankor Wat temples at sunrise and Tonle Sap at Sunset. Although it was dry season Tonle Sap and village was still a great experience and boat trip to floating restaurant was great.

It was a great day visiting the floating villages and watching the sunset with Sam. He's a great guide and was explaining everything and showing us many things. It was a very interesting experience! The sunset gorgeous... All in all, a very heart-touching experience. A suggestion would be that it's not necessary that the guide speaks all the time. Beautiful afternoon on Tonlé Sap Lake. The boat trip to visit the village on the lake was fascinating, and the sunset... purely beautiful! Bus transport with water was very convenient. Our guide, Mr RA, was fantastic. Very good experience thanks to his kindness and exciting explanations about Cambodia. He told us very interesting things about his country and life here. I was able to take great pictures of the sunset. An excursion that I highly recommend. Ask Mr RA!

My favourite tour in Siem Riep. Peaceful watching the locals' way of life in the floating village and boating through the mangrove. Tickled by how resourceful the locals are - saw a little girl use a big cooking pot as a boat. Tickled by how our boat was on top of a tree which is usually the bus stop because it was rainy season. Heart-warmed by how happy the village kids are playing in the water. Sunset on the lake was amazing. The lake is so huge we thought we were in an ocean. Thanks Ry Cheng our awesome guide for sharing your childhood in the floating village with us! Our driver Sophom was great too - steady driver!
