Ang Thong National Marine Park is a true natural wonder. An archipelago of 42 islands. With magnificent limestone cliffs emerging from the sea, tropical rainforest, rich wildlife, and beautiful beaches, the national park is among the most famous tourist destinations. You will visit Koh Maekoh and do some snorkeling, and swimming. The highlight of the island is "Talay Nai" or "Emerald Lake" an island where the limestone mountains encircled the emerald lake. See spectacular views from the viewpoint. You will have a buffet lunch on the island. Then you will visit Koh Wua Talap. Here you will hike up to the viewpoints on the mountain of Wua Talap Island. There are 6 viewpoints. Walking to the top viewpoint needs reasonable physical fitness and you will get rewarded by the stunningly beautiful panoramic views of the national park. Alternatively, you can enjoy kayaking along the coastline of the island.

We pick you up from any hotels in Koh Phangan which have road access. Guests who stay at hotels in Thong Nai Pan Yai and Thong Nai Pan Noi areas will pay an additional pickup fee of 300 THB/person in cash on the tour date. *** Cannot pick up from Haad Khuad (Bottle Beach), Haad Khom, and Haad Yuan areas. Customers need to come to the pier by themself. ***

Good day. Check in was quick. had to wait about an hour before heading to the boat which was fine as had coffee & toast. Tour was good, snorkelling not great as no visibility due to storm night before. Kayaking was good & buffet food was fine. Last island was good aside from it raining (not operators fault) but kids got to see moneys which they enjoyed. Nice coffee there. Guides very nice & professional. Would much rather half day option.
I was charged (despite my booking) an additional sum of 300 Baht as national park entry fee. I expected visitor to cover this when I paid for the tour. Tour is weather dependant. More hype tour description wise than real experience. It better to get out on the boat for the day though. I enjoyed it.

We took a trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park today, and from start to finish, it was perfect. Our driver, Top (Bus 20), collected us from our hotel right on time and transported us to the pier for check-in. The entire process was smooth, well-organised, and stress-free. Kathy, our guide on Boat 21, was fantastic. She provided clear directions, shared interesting information throughout the day, and ensured everyone knew what was happening at each stage of the tour. The snorkelling was great fun, the kayaking was enjoyable, and the beaches were beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful when embarking and disembarking in a variety of situations, always professional, polite, and attentive. Drinks were offered regularly throughout the day, which helped keep everyone well hydrated. Kathy, the captain, and the entire crew provided excellent service and made the experience even more enjoyable. Lunch was served buffet-style on one of the islands and was delicious, with a good variety of options available. At the end of the day, Top was there waiting for us again. He guided us back to our bus and safely returned us to our hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour. Thank you to Kathy, the captain, Top, and the entire team for such a memorable experience.

The guides were great, and the breakfast and lunch were perfectly fine for a day trip. There was plenty of water that was distributed repeatedly. The two hikes have many steep metal steps on the first one, so they are also manageable with flip-flops. The second ascent consists of very uneven stone steps. Flip-flops work here as well, but sneakers are also completely sufficient. We would do the excursion again, especially for the breathtaking view and the monkeys sitting in the trees.

Notice: Disappointing experience - Rigid service and lack of user friendliness Note: 2/5 Despite the aesthetic beauty of the traditional boat, our private excursion for 5 people was a great disappointment. While basic logistical commitments were met (on time for hotel transfers), the human and tourist experience was not commensurate with a private service. The negatives: • Reception and attitude: An extremely cold captain and reluctant to communicate as soon as we arrived. • Lack of flexibility: We explicitly asked to avoid ultra-tourist areas to discover quieter corners. The captain refused to adapt the route, leading us exactly where all the other groups were. It felt like a "shuttle" rather than a private ride. • Lunch arrangements: At lunch we were dropped off in a port without any charm, unwelcoming and without shade. Instead of a picnic on a deserted beach (as we had experienced on other excursions, especially in the West Indies), we were handed a basin of rice and asked to eat further, in full sun, without the possibility of swimming. • Interest of the visit: Overall very low, without any explanation or sharing from the attendant. The positives: • Snorkeling: The timing of the dive was pleasant. • Fruit: The fresh fruit, carefully prepared by the captain, was excellent. Unfortunately, this was our only positive moment of the day. Conclusion: We do not recommend this agency if you are looking for customization and user-friendliness. A service that satisfies the bare minimum without any sense of hospitality

Great day out. Activities were well planned and timed to perfection so no one area was overcrowded. Viewpoint walks were not for the feint hearted . Staff were very friendly and professional.. would definitely recommend in good weather!

Lovely day exploring National park. Snorkeling on route with a reasonable amount of fish. The lake is stunning and lunch good. Our guide was brilliant taking great photos.

The swimming and snorkelling was great Lunch was nice The boat staff were amazing The boat wasn’t great though as you couldn’t see anything whilst inside, abit like being stuck in a sardine tin

Please note that speedboats travel at high speed, and their high sides are designed to protect passengers from strong wind and water splashes, which may partially block the view. If you would like a clearer view, you can request a seat at the front, though you will be more exposed to direct sunlight. Alternatively, you may choose a larger boat, which travels more slowly but offers a more open space and better opportunities to enjoy the scenery.
