Tour of Corinth

Thanasis picked us up at our hotel and arrived early. His car was very clean and comfortable. He started out by giving us an overview of our day. Very informative on the history of what we were going to see. At each stop, he informed us on how long we had to explore. He was very patient, and flexible as we found ourselves caught up in the beauty and wonder he shared with us. We had a lot of fun, enjoyed his company, and appreciated Thanasis’s knowledge on not only the history of the places we saw, but also the history of Greece. We will definitely be requesting him for our next tour!

#WorthIt!

We highly highly highly recommend Giannis Metallidis private tour of ancient Corinth! Our original bus tour was previously cancelled due to heavy rainfall warning for Corinth & we took a chance on this private tour which worked well with the remaining time we had in Athens . Giannis car was clean, new, cool ( AC) & he kept buying us waters throughout the day . He is the kindest, nicest & most knowledgeable person who happily shared information & answered all our questions as we were driving on highways & less travelled roads, through olive groves & vineyards on our way to different sites. He easily accommodated our interests with a few extra stops & was very attentive to all our needs. As the day wore on & we were more tired from the heat , even the silence was comfortable . It was WELL worth the extra $ for a private tour . His recommendations for artisans ( icons is what we were looking for ) & also restaurant choices in our area were spot on too! Thank you Giannis for being such an incredible host . Wishing you well in your amazing business !

Nice areas to see.

We enjoyed seeing Ancient Corinth, but there was too much time there since we didn't have anyone telling us about the area and what we were looking at. The canal was gorgeous.

Operator response

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the expectations you had when booking your tour with us. We understand that you were hoping for a more engaging experience with historical context and explanations during the drive. While our drivers are local experts and happy to share general information and local insights while driving, they are unfortunately not licensed tour guides who can provide detailed, official historical narrations. True guiding services within Greece's rich historical sites require a specific, separate license. However, we strive for all interactions to be warm and informative, and we regret that the driver came across as 'dry.' We value your desire for a more conversational experience, and we will use your comments to provide further training to our team regarding passenger engagement and ensuring all guest preferences are clearly communicated. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope you enjoyed the beauty of Corinth. Sincerely, Konstantinos Transfer To Athens

Ancient Korinthos

A fantastic experience! The drive out of Athens meant we saw interesting parts of the city. Corinth Canal - great opportunity to view from bridge. As Christians we were very keen to visit the place where the apostle Paul spent time and the community to whom he wrote. The emphasis was very much on Greek Mythology with just a cursory mention of the Christian history. Our driver tour guide Kostas was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable and provided maps and photos to enhance the experience. A great half-day trip out of Athens. We recommend !!!!!!
