Fun and informative tour. Our tour guide was Melissa, and she was great. She shared lots of local information. We enjoyed the ulu knife stop and demonstration, also the stop for the sausage and salmon tasting. We could have skipped the chocolate stop, because no sharing of information from the store. No sampling. Pretty much a shopping stop.
Excellent introduction to Anchorage! Friendly, knowledgeable guide and a nice van to travel in. A great option to learn about the city’s history and culture.
It was a good general tour of the city, although slightly commercial since we stopped in a lot of businesses where you could buy things. But we’re tourists so that was kind of nice in a way. The driver had a lot of knowledge of the city and we learned quite a bit. As a new visitor, I would definitely do it again.
Gary gave us a great tour! He was very knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting. I recommend this tour for a great overview if Anchorage.
Awesome time went thru out the city and good food
No refund for heavy rain. Very disappointing Do not recommend I even called and spoke with the person
The tour service was excellent Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly Helped storing our luggage and dropped us at the airport.
We took another tour with about the same stops... so it wasn't as new to us. I was with my husband, sister-in-law and a friend. We stopped at the fish place and the samples were not as they appeared on the advertisment, they were smaller. I thought this tour was .... look, taste and buy. The chocolate store was the same, but we did sample and buy there.
Melissa did a marvelous job as a guide. As we drove along to the points of interest, (Alaska Wild Berry Products, Ulu Factory, Beluga Point, Hood Lake, Earthquake Park & Alaska Sausage & Seafood), provided a wealth of information & she also provided additional insight regarding the history, heritage and culture of Anchorage. My spouse and I learned a lot more than we thought we would. I highly recommend this tour with Melissa a your guide.
Great places to see. And the tour guide was very nice and friendly. I recommend this tour to first timer in Anchorage
