The first stop will be Positano. Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress
Amalfi. The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The scenery is beautiful but very crowded. We felt like our driver was only there to drive us, nothing more. No history, no commentary on the small towns. We had to ask about where we were, where are the restrooms, could we have some water, etc.

We absolutely loved out tour. Our driver Nicala was great and Ciro our guide was AMAZING!!!!!!Ciro kept us informed and entertained throughout the tour. We had 19 family members in our group, ages 12 through 87, and everyone truly enjoyed our tour through Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii.

We used Mondo Tours for a side trip from Naples to Capri, and our guided tour was worth the price 10-FOLD! We then used Mondo for a second guided tour to the Amalfi Coast two days later. We were met EXACTLY on time at our hotel in Naples, and guided by Edwardo. To an AMAZING day of pointed-out highlights, we were given the free time we needed, which was to walk around on our own, shop, and take time for a snack. Our concern was that the tour might be too detailed, and we wanted free time to just enjoy the beauty of the Coast. It was a perfect combination of both. Our driver, Marco, was awesome and gave us the best day on the coast. He was flexible, knew the best spots, and even made sure we had some amazing pizza in Naples before getting back on our cruise. We will be back and will use Mondoguide again.

We kind of chose our own itenirary since we were a small group trip/just us! Spend the extra $ to do this. This is the second time I have used them for this excursion and they are the best. Do limoncello tasting for sure, Poisitano, Ravello and go to Villa Rufolo! Half of my people eres an hour late off the cruise🙄. So we kind of got messed up, but our guide was gracious and made it happen for us!
