And the most beautiful monument of Meriruka, the largest of the Old Kingdom tombs at Saqqara and reflects his very important position as a vieser with its wall relief of the inner courtyard and entrance gateway,. You will visit also tombs of the Nobles with its colored scenes like the two brothers niankhnom and khnomhotep and Irukaptah with its famous scenes of daily life activities in ancient Egypt Saqqara's Necropolis used in the new kingdom as well so you can visit more painted & decorated tombs of Maya who was the Overseer of the Treasury during the reign of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and Horemheb . Also including a visit to the museum of Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect who built the step pyramid .the museum contains six large halls full of masterpieces from Saqqara area. Finally a very unique visit to the Serapeum! A new experience to walk through a long tunnel under the ground, It was a burial place of Apis, sacred bulls with many huge ancient sarcophagi you can askyour guide about an optional lunch.

My sister and I toured Saqqara with Sam and were amazed by his knowledge and professionalism. We were on a tight schedule that day and he was excellent with accommodating this and making sure we saw the highlights while still providing an amazing amount of fascinating information. It was clear that he was passionate about his area of expertise and we loved our time with him. Saqara is not to be missed. Company and driver were also great to work with. Friendly and professional. one of the best tours i had while i was in Egypt. learned more about the ancient egypt than i had on other tours. our guide, Ezz Deen, brought us into the tombs before the crowd and explained everything in detail. he even answered some additional questions we had after the tour. our driver, Faisal, very kindly picked us up and dropped us off punctually and drove us around the complex. would totally recommend anyone who wants to give this tour a go!
My guide Deen was amazing! Informative and funny. Went to Step Pyramids and the serrapeum fantastic tour, showed all the small tombs and explained the hieroglyphics and tomb paintings in detail. The Serrapeum was mind blowing and incredibly beautiful.
As a solo female traveller, Mr. Deen did a fantastic job making sure I was safe the entire time. He is very knowledgeable and was able to take me to tombs that tourists don’t normally go. 10/10 recommend, this tour has been the highlight of my trip to Egypt - worth every penny.
Not to be overlooked! This must be the first pyramid you see while in Egypt, as it is the oldest pyramid in Egypt. And our guide was phenomenal. So full of information and tips for traveling in Egypt.
Guide Sam had vast knowledge and superb English. He grasped my level of knowledge and my interests and tailored the tour appropriately. He was also patient, checking my understanding, and bringing the ancients to life with funny fascinating stories.
It was the best tour for my husband and me, we wanted to see every monument at saqqara , so we booked this private tour and it was truly amazing, everything was perfect and done with love. The guide gave us gifts and snacks and the driver gave us enough cold water .the car was clean and comfy. we came from Jeddah and we only had one day before going to Sharm ..highly recommended in Cairo and Giza
