Great day out

Had a great day out with Dylan on this tour . He was very Knowledgeable and we went round lots of streets and areas with plenty short stops for photos before we went to the woods . There was no stopping in Sausalito only a drive through before we headed back to go to Alcatraz. He was great at telling us when to be back and how long we had in each place.

Operator response

Thank you for joining us! We’re so glad you had a great day out with Dylan and enjoyed seeing so many different streets, neighborhoods, and photo stops before heading to Muir Woods. We’re also happy to hear Dylan kept everything clear and organized throughout the day, especially with timing for each stop and getting you back for Alcatraz. This tour includes a drive through Sausalito, but next time we’d love to have you join our Full Day Famous Tour, which includes a more relaxed lunch break in Sausalito. Hope to see you again soon!

Great experience of SFO in one day

Our driver Jules was our guide as well. Lots of historical information given and iconic sites visited in SFO. Golden gate and Muir Woods were great but unfortunately Sausalito was not included on the day as per the tour booking due to time restrictions!.Alcatraz visit was at the end, a self guided audio tour after our guide instructed us re the pre-booked tickets and the ferry. Overall excelletnt tour and very well organised.

Operator response

Thanks for booking direct with Dylan’s Tours and for sharing your experience. We’re really glad you had a great day exploring San Francisco with Jules. He does a fantastic job mixing in history, local insight, and all the iconic sights along the way. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods, and that everything felt well organized from start to finish, including the Alcatraz portion. We appreciate you pointing out Sausalito as well. On some of the Alcatraz combination days, timing can be tight, so it becomes more of a scenic pass-through rather than a full stop, but we always aim to make sure the overall experience still feels complete. Thanks again for the recommendation, and hope to see you again soon.

February is wet! It does rain in California!

Although a very rainy day and the last ferry to Alcatraz was very early (1:35 - winter times in February even though sunset is close to 6) I had a very enjoyable day! At Fort Point and In Muir Woods there were fewer people I expect due to the weather which made photos and videos better! The early last ferry meant no time in Sausalito or for food which was a real shame so I had to purchase food on the Alcatraz ferry and eat very fast! Jules the guide was very knowledgeable and a great driver on those steep San Francisco hills when showing us the main sites at the start of our tour!

San Fransisco Must Do

This was an amazing tour, taking in some fabulous highlights of San Fransisco. Our tour guide was quirky & fun & had a wealth of knowledge about everywhere we went - he definitely made the trip amazing. His photography skills when capturing the Golden Gate were excellent, and we all had him assist us to capture the perfect shots. Muir Woods wasn't something we knew much about, but gosh, this place is beautiful and well worth the small entry fee applicable. We also opted for Alcatraz, and it doesn't disappoint. Be sure to listen to the audio, follow the directions and you'll hear some amazing information from guards & prisoners. Highly recommend Green Dream Tours :)
