Travelers will journey through Morocco’s highest road pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. Along the way, they’ll admire dramatic mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages, and winding roads. There will be several photo stops at panoramic viewpoints where travelers can stretch, enjoy the fresh air, and capture stunning landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.
At this fortified Berber village, travelers will step back in time while walking through narrow alleyways, mud-brick houses, and ancient watchtowers. A local guide will share the site’s fascinating history and explain why it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors will also learn about its role as a backdrop for famous movies and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Travelers can climb to the top for panoramic views over the Ounila Valley. In Ouarzazate, travelers will visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, once the residence of a powerful Pasha. Hotels/Riads in the Old Town (Medina): Pickup from the nearest accessible parking area (as vehicles are not allowed inside the Medina). Drop-off will also be at the closest parking to your accommodation. Hotels in the New Town (Gueliz / Hivernage): Pickup and drop-off from/to the hotel front desk. Hotels/Accommodations Outside Marrakech (8–12 km): Pickup and drop-off available with an extra charge of €30 (per group 1–6 persons) or €50 (per group 7–14 persons), payable directly on the day of the tour. Pickup Time: Pickup generally starts 45 minutes before departure, around 7:00 AM. Departure from Marrakech is around 8:00 AM. Please be ready at your hotel lobby or designated meeting point on time to avoid delays. Exact pickup details will be confirmed after booking.
