09:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up in Marrakech Your day begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Meet your friendly, English-speaking driver and set off towards the outskirts of the city.
Arrival at the Agafay Desert & Camel Ride Reach the stunning Agafay Desert, a rocky expanse offering wide open views and peaceful surroundings. Here, you'll enjoy a traditional camel ride across this unique landscape—a perfect opportunity for memorable photos and a glimpse into the nomadic way of travel.
Continue Towards the Atlas Mountains After the camel ride, continue your scenic drive through the countryside, passing olive groves and Berber villages on your way to the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Imlil & Meet Local Guide Upon arrival in the mountain village of Imlil, meet your knowledgeable local guide. Begin a guided walk through the area, exploring terraced fields, traditional homes, and cascading waterfalls, while learning about the customs and daily life of the Berber people. Visit to a Local Berber Home (Optional Lunch) Take a break in a welcoming Berber home, where you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch (optional, to be arranged in advance or on the day). What a fantastic day. Guide (Khalid) was brilliant. Kids loved the camel ride in the desert, and the trek to the waterfall was amazing. Great guide and outstanding views. Lunch with a Berber family and absolute must..unforgettable day. Would highly recommend.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful day exploring outside of Marrakesh, seeing the beautiful Agafay Desert and Atlas Mountains. Our guide, Zack, was helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating, organising a guide for our walk up to see the waterfalls in the mountains and making sure we had everything we needed. The camel ride was gentle and, for inexperienced riders, the guides were patient and friendly.
