Our driver was a very jerky driver and swerved all over the place. Both my husband and I became VERY motion sick and could not really enjoy ourselves. With a different driver, I feel like the experience would have been better. Also, 2 hours is not enough time to explore Windsor Castle and it costs extra to stay longer so figure that into your expense.
Thank you for leaving us a review. I am sorry to hear that you had a bumpy drive to Windsor Castle. We will look at the drivers tracker and CCTV camera in the vehicle and see what went wrong. The average time to see Windsor Castle is 2 hours. We do offer additional hours as some of our clients find more than two hours too much.
Touring the Castle Rooms getting information from the Castle Room Employees was the best part of the tour. Long ride but well worth the trip. Unfortunately St. George's Chapel was partly closed to the public because of the Garter Ceremony within two days. Driver was very accommodating with meeting our needs for wife's bathroom quick stop-off. Would have appreciated bit more information about areas passed on way to Windsor.
Very comfortable car and everything was on time. Lines were not too long to enter Castle and two hours was a satisfactory time limit. Having an advanced admission ticket helped. The only problem was the line to enter the Chapel, which we skipped. Enjoyed the gift shop where we bought gifts for family back home. Driver was efficient and pleasant.
The driver did not talk with is at all on the drive to Windsor and only about football (during World Cup) on the drive back. The benefit is you get dropped off and picked up close to the gate. The Castle itself is fantastic. I felt like I overpaid for a ride. And you only get 2 hours unless you pay for more which does not leave much time to explore the town. I would definitely find another way to see Windsor.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on the service. As you have stated, this is a private vehicle service where we pick you up directly from your London accommodation and take you to Windsor Castle and then return you back once you complete your visit to Windsor Castle, this service includes the admission tickets to Windsor Castle. I'm sorry that you feel that you have overpaid. The service details are clearly specified in the product details. In most cases, two hours is more than sufficient that's why we provide the option to extend for an additional charge if required. I have checked who was your driver on the day. I was surprised that the conversation was not flowing as we generally get a lot of good feedback from our clients from the driver that drove you to Windsor Castle maybe he just was having a bad morning.
Wonderful driver, told us about sites on the way and was where he said he would be when he would be Had water for us ready both ways Opened the door for us Real nice!
Fantastic experience with family. If you have time absolutely do this trip. Joao was great driver. Very friendly
In the Castle, you hear and notice a lot about the day-to-day of Kings and queens. It's interesting to know your house and customs. I liked it. Access from London is easy and fast.
Trip to london was so awasome and great.that was so great time of my life which i can not forget ever.
