The horseback safari trail is very welcoming to both beginners and experienced in horse riding. The two hour guided tour in a friendly and best trained horses eventually closely introduce one to all wild animals in the reserve. The aerial cableway is 1.2 km up to the top of Magaliesberg mountain. From above is undisturbed beautiful view of Hartebeest burb and other surroundings including artificial Hartebeestspoort dam. Also is a place to sit down for a lovely refreshments and a deserving lunch treat.

The Horseback Safari caters for everyone interested in experiencing wildlife in horseback and in a close proximity despite personal background in horse riding. This is a two hour guided tour in a friendly and well trained horses. See all wild animals kept in this reserve in a close range at preferred riding speed.
A 1.2 km long cableway brings one to the top of Magaliesberg mountain for undisturbed view of the whole burb and its surroundings. All the beauty features in the making of this suburb clearly exposed to everyone only from this point. The summit is also supplied with refreshment lunch stations for everyone's choice.
