An experienced local tour guide will meet you in Stresa at your hotel ( if centrally located) or at the pier in Stresa, Baveno, Pallanza to reach isola Bella by private boat and discover all its beauty at a lovely time of the day when most of the crowds have usually gone. Your private boat will tour around isola Bella to enable you to enjoy beautiful views of the spectacular 17th-century gardens built on ten levels and see the whole palace from the boat. Your personal guide will show you the richly decorated rooms and the grottos telling you more about the founders and owners of isola Bella's fairy-tale palace and will then take you on a guided stroll through the lovely gardens and the tiny village on the island.

Micaela what a tour! I reached out to Micaela as I wanted a private boat for me and my partner after a special day before. She worked around my needs and told me a tour that would suit. We had a wonderful afternoon on a private tour with Micaela, walking through Stresa, and then a lovely tour of Isola Bella followed by a boat cruise with Prosecco . We chose to visit the palace, and we have no regrets. The afternoon with Micaela was very rewarding, both for her historical knowledge and with her anecdotes about the princely family... and about Napoleon!! We laughed a lot!! We arranged this tour at the very last moment and are so pleased we did ! The area is very special but made even more so by Micaelas expert knowledge of the history surrounding the Borrowmee islands. We were collected by private boat from the Aminta hotel and toured both islands before staying for dinner on Pescatori. Micaela is clearly a well known guide as the restaurant even made a special boat stop after dinner to drop us back at the hotel rather than Stresa. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. We throughly recommend this tour and Micaelas services
