Good tour and great welcome

Ismaili was an excellent driver and organizer: ready to change plans in the face of some schedule changes or difficult weather conditions. The 7-day tour is long and advisable for people who can adapt, it involves many hours by car. Some experiences, such as visiting the ceramic craftsman are very beautiful and authentic.

Operator response

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your 7-day tour and appreciated Ismaili’s flexibility and organization, especially when adapting to schedule changes and weather conditions. We’re also happy that you enjoyed the authentic experiences along the way, particularly the visit to the ceramic craftsman, which is one of our favorite cultural encounters. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Morocco in the future. Best regards, Zagora Desert Travel Team

Amazing place to visit

We booked the trip online without really knowing some of the details. We like to be surprised. Our driver Ismail was wonderful, he was very relaxed and super friendly. It was nice to be able to sit back and relax on the trips between destinations, even on the drives through the mountains. I think one of the best parts about Morocco was that between each destination you got a new type of scenery and topography to look at in awe. Everyone we encountered was very nice and willing to talk with us in English, which I know can be difficult in a country where it is the 4th or 5th language. The guides were all very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. The highlight for us was our time spent in the desert, the camels (1 hump) and the quad bikes was a blast. Being able to see the starts while at the camp was also a treat. We also got a chance to have dinner at Chez Ali, which was a pretty cool experience. Dinner and a show celebrating all the tribes of Morocco. Overall the trip exceeded our expectations and we look forward to coming back at some point to see the rest of the country. Thanks again!! No communication and englishspeeking guide

We had a fantastic tour from M'Hammid to the dessert, but it was definately not because of Zagora desert travel. We booked a 6 days tour to chegaga. When we started the tour we found out that our two guides did not speak a word english. One only spoke arabic and the other a little french. Ismail and the agency knew that we didn't speak french.. so it was not possible for us to communicate with our guides, which was a big problem because Ismail and the agency hadn't informed the guides about the tour we had bought and didn't know that we wanted to go to chegaga. Since we didn't speak french we had a lot of miscommunications and ended up having some really long days of walking so we could reach the sanddunes. Furthermore the company takes overprise and you can get the same tour cheaper if you buy it in M'Hamid. At last we will underline that our guides were really good and did everyhing to compensate for the barriere of communication and the lack of information from Zagora Desert travles side. Do the tour but with another agency.
