We gonna book again for another destination!

My family and i were enjoying this tour so much! Everything started & ended on time. Our Tour guide was Andy, he was very nice & funny. He took care of everyone of us even before the trip started. We appreciated that so much.

Great Way to See Much of UK, Quickly, & On a Budget

Very good for its value. GoEUGo is a Hong Kong-based company and it seemed that a majority of its clients were from the East. The tour guide (Andy/Andi) was very good about accommodating to the diverse international audience aboard the tour. We thought his English was pretty good and he was very available for any questions and advice during the tour. He wasn't necessarily a history professor but was very kind, available for questions about the areas (bathrooms, restaurants, shops, etc.), and did a solid job trying to herd all of the families on the tour. You're on a bus with other families. Assigned seats because some families only join for certain parts of the tour. So the tour group expands and contracts as you move along. Be aware that if you travel during Christmas and the New Year many places may be closed. Also, you're basically trying to see all of the UK in seven days . . . it's going to be fast. If you only have a certain time-frame in which to visit, and you don't want to 'break the bank' to do it, it's a great option. We were really quite pleased. We never could have seen as much as we did in the time that we did by trying to coordinate the trip on our own. We acknowledge some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews but we really had a good time and I could present reasonable counter-arguments/explainations for all of the complaints I've seen listed by others (but it would take too long to do so here). We understood some stuff would be closed for the Holidays and knew we would be moving fast (which is what we wanted because we didn't have a long time for our vacation in the UK anyways). Maybe some of the negative reviews had different tour guides than we had (Andy/Andi)? Our tour guide was great! We felt the value for your money was very good.

Absolutely Worst Tour Guide Ever

We've just completed a 4-Day England and Scotland Tour with goEUgo over Christmas. As the tour was from December 23 to 26, pretty much all attractions are closed on December 25 and 26. Even though the attractions were closed, we did visit some "free" areas. However, we were very confused why the tour guide (Miriam Meszaros) felt the need to always rush us from one place to another. On December 25, we arrived at our airport hotel in Manchester at 4PM (prior to the actual tour date, we confirmed with goEUgo that the arrival time at the hotel would be around 6:30PM). We arrived at the hotel 2.5 hours earlier than scheduled, so you can imagine how the tour guide "rushed" us so that we can spend more time doing nothing in the airport hotel which is very far from any attraction. On December 26, the same thing happened again, we were rushed to leave Bicester Village. The normal drop-off time at St. Pancras Railway Station was at 7:30PM, but we were once again rushed to complete the tour and we arrived back in London around 5:30PM, 2 hours earlier than scheduled. Thankfully, we were able to contact the driver of the coach company we've arranged to pick us up at the station. If you're thinking of taking the goEUgo Purple Line, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Seriously.

Tour guide hardly spoke any English, we couldn't understand anything

My husband and I along with another couple were looking forward to this trip. The places we saw were beautiful. BUT! Two days before our trip and after multiple requests, Viator finally sent us the voucher (you must have it as it needs to be presented to the tour guide at the beginning of the trip). In the voucher in a very small prints we saw the disclosure: GoEUgo has the rights to combine the customer of English and Vietnamese speaking tour in same bus if any group has fewer travelers. We wished it would be disclosed to us before we paid for the tour, which was non-refundable. But at that time we were not too concerned as the tour was supposed to be in English. Boy we were wrong not to be concerned! We were combined with none English speaking group, which would not be a problem. Except, our tour guide barely spoke any English. The accent was so thick that we couldn’t understand anything he was saying, he had a vocabulary of a 5 year old. Every time we had a free time we had to verify multiple times when we need to be back on the bus to make sure we understood him correctly and they wouldn’t leave without us. Plus, our tour guide was explaining everything in two languages: in English we couldn’t understand and Vietnamese. After we returned, we complained to Viator, after all Viator is the company we bought the tour from and they state they handpick and pre-vet all the tours... After multiple calls to Viator, they finally offered us 90.00 refund. Considering that we paid for this tour 727.76 you can understand our frustration and one star.

Dear Tanya, Thank you for your review, your feedback is very much appreciated. We do have this disclosure before you book this tour mentioned under:" information that travelers need from us". We are doing our utmost best not to have combined tours, we will definitely review and reconsider not to combine tours in the future. Many thanks for your review and feedback. Best regards, Maggie

Tour guide had bad English, so we couldn’t understand the majority of the stuff he was saying...

We liked other tours we bought on Viator, And even this tour could be good considering the landmarks and places we have visited... BUT! Since the majority of the people on the bus were Asian, the tour guide was explaining everything in two languages. We have not been told that this would be the case until literally a coupe of days before the trip. And even then it would be totally fine (and I want to add that we met so many nice people on the bus!) if tour guide would have at least “ok” English. Unfortunately our guide’s English was so bad, that those who only could speak English, had real trouble to understand anything. So at the end of the day, at least for our group it was more self-guided rather then guided tour. The issue is that those details haven’t been shared with us by Viator when we were purchasing the tour (which I should note is non-refundable)! We complained to Viator, but they said they are just a third party booking agency, and do not control the way each company, who offers their services on the Viator website, conducts their business and not responsible for updating their information on the Viator website... But, at the same time Viator states that they handpick and pre-vet all the tours... so we hope in the future Viator will do a better job to verify and provide those kind of details WHEN people deciding to purchase the tour.

Scotland tour

Tour was very informative however we didn't realize it was an Asian tour group and only 3 English people amongst 43 people. We met some lovely people but the language issue was difficult.

Great trip!

Seen a lot, met a lot of nice people. Our guide was nothing short of amazing. Eric for you definitely a big 10! In a nutshell we got to know the various cities and the beautiful English landscape. There were places I will definitely return to. The site states: A maximum of 15 travelers participate in this tour/activity. This is not where the transport is by large coach, but a very nice one by the way. For people who know little about England like me, it is a nice way to get to know the country.
