7-Day Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli Kenya Budget Safari

The tour was simply wonderful. It was seven unforgettable days exploring the incredible national parks of Kenya. We were lucky to see the Big Five on the first day and witness the start of the Great Migration, a truly unique experience. A large part of this experience is thanks to our guide and driver, Francis. His knowledge of the parks, the animals, and each route was impressive. He always knew exactly where to go to find the best wildlife and made every effort for all of us to enjoy the best views and take amazing photographs. Additionally, throughout the tour, I felt completely safe. Francis proved to be a very professional, experienced, and responsible guide, instilling confidence at all times. His dedication, enthusiasm, and passion for his work made this safari even more special. Thank you, Francis, for making this adventure an unforgettable memory. Without a doubt, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience an exceptional safari in Kenya.

We did a 7 day safari with Lenchada Safaris and while the wildlife itself was incredible, there are serious transparency and communication issues that future travelers should know about. The main problem was in Amboseli National Park. The safari package is sold and charged as if you enter Amboseli for 3 days, but in reality you only enter the park for 2. The itinerary clearly mentions a night game drive on day 5, a full day game drive on day 6, and a pre morning game drive on day 7. The night game drive on day 5 never happened. Our guide clearly told us that they have NEVER done the Amboseli night game drive on day 5, yet it is still advertised in the itinerary they send to customers. There was no refund and no option to recover the unused park entrance fee. This is not about a missed service. It is a park entrance ticket that was never used. Amboseli park tickets are valid for 24 hours. What they do is enter the park on day 6 around 10am, which allows them to re enter at 6am on day 7 using the same ticket. This means they only pay one park entrance instead of two, while charging the customer as if three days were included. If you actually want to do the evening game drive on day 5, you would need to leave Hell’s Gate no later than 10am. This was not done and it was never communicated in advance. I have screenshots of the emails from Lenchada Safaris showing the itinerary exactly as advertised. I also have screenshots of WhatsApp conversations with Sam, the Operations Manager, where I raised this issue. In those messages, he first states that they never offered the day 5 game drive, and later says that because there is not enough time on day 5, they instead do the pre morning game drive on day 7. These explanations contradict each other. I initially dealt with Collins during the booking process. He was responsive until the deposit was paid, but after that it became extremely difficult to get answers or support from him. It is also worth mentioning that Lenchada Safaris is a subsidiary of Jocky Tours, which operates several other safari companies as well. Our guide was excellent, honest, and very knowledgeable, and the safari itself was enjoyable from a wildlife perspective. However, the itinerary is misleading, park fees are not handled transparently, and communication when issues arise is very poor. I strongly recommend clarifying exactly how many park entrances are truly included before booking.

Our Kenya trip was a dream, all thanks to Ken. He was an incredible guide who went above and beyond, showing us a huge variety of animals and sharing his vast knowledge. We felt completely safe with his cautious driving and appreciated his constant thoughtfulness and courtesy. Ken made our safari a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we highly recommend him.

Excellent safari and tour. Our guide, Ken was not only knowledgeable about the animals and the landscape, but also incredibly patient, attentive, and friendly. His sharp eye meant we spotted animals we might have otherwise missed, and his driving was both safe and comfortable, even on the rougher tracks. I would highly recommend this safari experience to anyone looking for a memorable and well-coordinated trip!

We had a great experience with Lenchada, especially because of our driver and guide Ken. He was a very safe driver on rough roads in various national parks, went out of his way to accommodate our requests as best as he could, and was very knowledgeable regarding the parks and animals. The food and stay arrangements with Lenchada partner camps and hotels were great as well.

We had an amazing experience with Ken as our safari guide in Kenya. Ken is friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with any request. He is punctual, communicative, and prompt. He is also a very safe driver. He worked hard, made an effort to know us and what we wanted, and made every effort to get us the best spots and the best viewpoints. He has good knowledge of wildlife and the land, he answered our many questions, and made recommendations that truly led to us having the best experience. We would highly recommend Ken to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari!

Communication with Alex is very smooth and transparent. The arrangement of jeep for pick up in Nairobi hotel to the safari is very punctual & comfortable. Service provided by Richard is 5 stars. He is not only our safari guide. He is our driver, guardian angel, economist, photographer & healer. Richard is very knowledgeable in the animal kingdom & have great technical driving skill! Many Jeep are stuck in the safari pit but we survived the 8 days trip without worries with no time wasted waiting for rescue. Value for money is totally worth it! Not a single day is wasted. Richard will accommodate to our request and go extra miles! With all of the above, you will definitely feel you’re in good hands! Reliability level is 200%.
