I recently booked a day tour to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and it was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the Pyramids in person is a life-changing experience, but visiting the GEM took it to another level. The museum's architecture is a masterpiece, and the collection is displayed beautifully. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the history come alive with great storytelling. If you’re visiting Cairo, this combo is a must-do. Highly recommended!

Ash was an integral aspect of our time in Egypt. As an Egyptologist you get much more than with a traditional tour guide. The in depth knowledge and insight into the history was what made the trip an experience of a lifetime! Our group included adults, teenagers, and young children: somehow Ash knew how to eloquently cater to all. You will feel like protected royalty as you tour the lands in Egypt with Ash and his family, they are respected and known everywhere. We planned our trip to Egypt during the last 10 days of January 2025. Our itenary for the tour was well planned by the tour agency. Everything was prepared and taken care of by the agency from the moment we landed. Our tour guide Amr Ashraf did a splendid job of giving us the history at every location and made sure our time in Cairo was fun and unforgettable. The hotels arranged were pretty nice and the breakfast was excellent. The guides and drivers with us were very kind and helpful. As two female travellers we felt extremely safe. We got to enjoy quite a bit of local food that we absolutely enjoyed. We have loved our time in Cairo and are very excited for the rest of our time here in Egypt with Light Egypt Travels
