DON'T BOOK THIS TOUR!

Terrible tour, not recommended! We were picked up at 7 am and taken to the "base" were we met with the group and taken to a big bus, not all travelers had the same tour and we ended up dropping people off to their tours for almost 3 hours. Then we were asked to change to another bus without toilet and dropped a few people off to other tours as well. Finally by 1 pm we got to Tulum, the guide left us there and went to pick up some of the people he had dropped off on the way to Tulum, we waited for him to come back for other 30 minutes...we stopped at a house to see if we wanted to buy souvenirs and finally by 4pm we got to COBA, where we were given the choice to go into the park very quickly or finally have "lunch". We decided to have lunch as we were starving by then. So we headed to the zenote and had lunch almost at 5pm. We swam in the zenote while the guide went to pick up the people who decided to go in to Coba. We then headed to Playa del Carmen and had quick 30 minutes to go around ( it was already 8:30pm when we got to Playa) The guide was not good and didn't provide interesting information, he was scrambling ideas and making passive aggressive comments about people complaining for being in the bus for 3-4 hours. Overall the tour was a dissaster and I would not recommend it to anyone. We paid on this app USD58 but then paid additionally around USD150 at the base...lost money as we spent most of our day on a bus or waiting and then rushing through attractions due to horrible planning by tour operator. I tried to request a refund but tripadvisor doesn't have an option for tours gone wrong...look for other options, don't do this tour if you don't want to lose your time and money.

Good tour.

This tour was good , we had the opportunity to meet tulum in a more fun and interactive way, the staff was very friendly 10/10. the cost benefit is acceptable compared to other tours that offer similar experiences but for much higher prices.
