4 Days Safari Adventure Masai Mara and Nakuru Park Group

We booked our Kenya safari through Axis Africa Expedition and Safaris, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Tabitha was wonderful to deal with—always prompt in replying to our emails, patient with our questions, and she even offered us a great discounted package. When we met her at the Nairobi office, she was just as warm and professional in person. Axis also provided a comfortable yet rugged Toyota 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof that was perfect for game viewing and photography, and every pickup and drop-off—from the Nairobi office to our camps in the parks—was perfectly on time. Everything ran like clockwork. The biggest highlight, however, was our incredible guide, Charles, affectionately known as "Sir Charles." His knowledge of wildlife, sharp instincts, and understanding of animal behaviour made every game drive unforgettable. Whether it was finding the famous Black Rock Pride in the Maasai Mara, positioning us perfectly for an unforgettable elephant crossing in Amboseli, or sharing fascinating insights about every animal we encountered, he consistently exceeded our expectations. His excellent coordination with other guides, tireless focus during long drives between parks, and genuine passion for Kenya's wildlife made this the trip of a lifetime. Thank you, Tabitha, Sir Charles, and the entire Axis Africa team—we couldn't have asked for a better safari experience. Five stars are simply not enough!

From beginning to end John Mawangi was professional, friendly and informative about the animals and the area we were exploring. Nothing was too much for John and he had a lot of patience. He never tired of the multiple questions our group asked him and he had a lot of knowledge about the all the various animals we had seen. He took the time to ensure we saw as many animals as possible and the whole tour was a fabulous experience.

We had an incredible experience with our tour guide, Kelvin MiMi. From day one, he was always punctual and made sure we stayed on schedule while never making us feel rushed. He was incredibly accommodating, always ensuring we were comfortable, had proper lunch breaks, and we never had to worry about finding a restroom. During every game drive, Kelvin’s knowledge of the wildlife was outstanding. He gave detailed explanations about each animal we encountered and made the experience both exciting and educational. What truly set him apart was how dedicated he was to giving us the best safari possible. He went above and beyond to help us spot not only the Big Five but also the Ugly Five. He constantly coordinated with park rangers and his network of guides to track animal sightings, making sure we were in the right place at the right time. Every day he picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel right on time, and throughout the trip he was professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our safari unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re planning a safari, we highly recommend requesting Kelvin MiMi, we wouldn’t want anyone else leading our adventure!

Overall, I and my friend were accomodated with all our requests and the team at AXIS Safari ensured timely and clear communication, the service was great at all fronts - including the booking and the safari itself. Our guide, Kelvin Mimi was very knowledgeable about the park and the animals, and he was really determined to show the most of both the national parks, he is a star. The trip was a great value for money in terms of accommodation, commute and safari.

Had a great experience at the Masai Mara Park.We could get close enough to the animals to get some fantastic pictures.Saw 4 of the big 5. Nakuru Park not as good.A lot of the animals too far away from the track.Our guide for the duration was fantastic. His name was Peter Ngigi.Thoroughly recommend him.

We had an unforgettable safari experience with Peter Ngigi. We did the 4-day tour from Nairobi, visiting the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Naivasha. Over the course of the trip, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five, as well as many other animals including leopards, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species. The scenery was stunning throughout and made the experience even more special. Peter Ngigi was an excellent guide. He was friendly, easy to get along with, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the wildlife and the local area. His knowledge of the roads and parks was remarkable, he seemed to know exactly where to go without needing GPS. He also had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. A huge thank you to Peter for making this such a memorable trip. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

We’ve just completed an incredible safari - 2 nights in the Maasai Mara and 1 night at Lake Nakuru - and it has genuinely been one of the most unforgettable experiences. The execution on the ground was flawless. We managed to see 4 of the Big 5 across our time in both parks, with fingers crossed for rhino on our final day at Nakuru! The variety of wildlife we encountered was breathtaking. Our guide, Peter Ngigi, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made every game drive a joy. I’d highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone looking to experience Kenya’s incredible wildlife.

Axis safaris was great with organizing everything. I started worried about the planning and the cost of the trip but Axis made everything super easy. They are the most cost efficient as well and taking those savings, I suggest a C or D package to masai mara and lake nakuru. I would skip lake naivasha if possible. If you are short on time then do masai mara for the 2 nights. Everything in the tour is covered so there are minimal expenses. Amos, our driver for the 4 days was amazing and went out of his way to get us to all the animals. He has great driving skills and can explain all our questions.
