My wife and I were picked up early on a Tuesday morning by our guide Achraf Bellabchara in a nice big comfortable car. With his experience and knowledge about his beautiful country that he loves so much he guided us elegantly through and told stories related to every place we visited. Over the Atlas Mountain range, visit to old villages, film-sets and studios, further on to fantastic desert and mountain views - each day ending in a beautiful Riad/Kasbas for dinner, sunsets and sleep. During the days we visited Rose Valley, Dades Gorges and the Sahara Desert were Achraf had arranged camel rides and overnight stay in a Berber-camp. Unbelievable beautiful stary night and sunrise the morning as we were cameling back to base were Achraf picked us up. Achraf did a lot more for us then could be expected. It's about all the small things, the local stops at a small carpet factory/school, the little shop selling Berber-scarfs and the shop where the dade specialist held house. We had 4 fantastic days on this adventure trip and found Achraf not only to be the best guide ever, but also a very good friend and soulmate, teaching us about the Moroccan life. Thank you very much to Hassan, our great guide and driver for these four days. He was always attentive to advise us and show us the right corners. In four days we lived extremely different experiences and settings: from crossing the Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass at 2260m to the Draa Valley and its ocean of date palms, to the dunes of Merzouga and its camel rides, not to mention the impressive Todgha and Dades Gorges and the visit to the Atlas studios in Ouarzazate where so many blockbusters were shot.
