Step off the beaten track in Morocco and enjoy an altogether slower pace of life on this 4-day Sahara Desert tour to Zagora and Merzouga from Marrakech. Take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains and visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed site of Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou with your guide. Travel the ‘Road of 1,000 Kasbahs’ to the Todgha Gorge and admire Morocco’s open countryside in the Dadès Gorge. Explore the deserts of Zagora and Erg Chebbi by camel, and discover soaring sand dunes and starlit skies. Group size is limited to 17 on this tour.

- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

- Good walking shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended
- A conservative dress code is recommended in Morocco. Men and women should keep their upper body as well as their knees covered at all times as a sign of respect to the local culture. Wearing shorts is not recommended. It can be cold at night and in the winter so please bring appropriate clothing
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of a slight itinerary change on day 2 if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements.
- Due to the distances covered you will spend about seven hours in the car on day 1, four hours on day 2, four hours on day 3, and six hours on day 4.

Was a very nice first day to the falls in Imlil! Mohmad Amjif was a great guide, very friendly, punctual pick up, on the way to the falls we took short breaks again and again as I am not so fast/supple when hiking with my over 100kg. The hike is always very steep, so as described be sure to put on sturdy shoes.
Thank you to the drivers Samir and Abdessamad, the manager of the hotel Brahim and the manager of the Aziz agency who were ALL extremely kind and immensely benevolent towards us. We were two single girls traveling and at no time did I feel insecure, I was always well supervised from the start to the end of the trip! For the trip from Marrakech to Merzouga I recommend it 100,000% and for the price you really get what you pay for! Rich in emotion, rich in encounters and so rejuvenating. It’s a real therapy allowing you to refocus on the essentials!

With a group of 20 students from Amsterdam we went on the 3 day track to the desert.The activities were great, the desert was beautiful and the guides were all really nice. We had a very fun evening in the Sahara with a campfire, good music, and good people. Even though the schede was great, what really completed it was our drivers, Mohammed and Abdou. They were amazing: they drove very safely and the schedule was great with different stops along the way. I was in the car with Abdou for the entire journey. He is one of the kindest people I have met. He truly cares about giving his customers the best experience possible. He is knowledgeable, open, flexible, and overall very kind and funny. I learned a lot about Moroccan culture and had great conversations with him. Abdou consistently made sure to check on everyone in the van, making sure we all had water and were having a good time. He also asked us how the accommodation and activities were just in case anything was wrong. I can recommend this trip to everyone! Even though we were in a group, this is definitely safe and fun to do alone as well!
Happy surprise! Learned a lot about berber culture.rich history and welcoming people. Our driver abdou is a good driver so you can take a nap without getting a neck hernia. He talked a lot about environment and culture. The local guides are very friendly and take the time to answer the questions. Aiit ben hadou is really an experience...the setting for many movies and the guide is famous star there! The anti atlas and Atlas mountains are beautiful and the guide told how the tribes lived, the customs and the tinder festival (ask about it). The Sahara trek is something you must have done. Personally, I would have preferred to stay several nights in the desert to really feel the nomads. Unfortunately due to lack of time this was not possible! Overall a fantastic trip with the right people!!!
The experience in the Sahara desert with the camel and our staying in the luxury tents in Sahara was fantastic and I could say it was worth it. Our driver Mohamed Bajo was the best
This was a dream for us, to actually be in Sahara Desert. We were very lucky to choose Ando Travel, they are very professional, specially Hussen, he is THE BEST!! He has a great personality and makes the trip fun and enjoyable, on the route, he gave us lots of information about the area, and was ready to assist us in every moment, with a big smile. We made a family trip 12 people) starting from Errachidia and passing through the desert of Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Tinghir for 6 days. It was spectacular, all super well organized, the agency totally adapted to our requests and budget. Our guide and driver Mohamed, absolutely helpful and charming. He accompanied us throughout the trip in a new and comfortable minibus. Such an agency is essential if you want to visit southern Morocco. We will contact you again
