The journey also takes you through some of Morocco’s most spectacular landscapes, including the High Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, the Valley of Roses, and Todra Gorges. The extra night in Merzouga allows time for relaxation or optional activities like quad biking, 4x4 desert excursions, or peaceful walks in the dunes. This tour is ideal for travelers who want a deeper desert experience while traveling comfortably from Marrakech to Fes.

I just wanted to share my experience with Mouhou tours , even though my Moroccan trip didn't eventuate, as the recent troubles in the Middle East forced us to cancel our booking. Up to that date, the communications we had with Ibrahim from Mouhou were exceptional, extremely helpful and insightful. It left me in no doubt that our Moroccan trip was going to be a truly wonderful and memorable experience and one which would leave us with lasting memories. When we had to notify him of our cancellation, he was very understanding and refunded our deposit promptly and in full. When the opportunity arises to visit Morocco, Mouhou will be my first call. Based on my dealings with Ibrahim, I can recommend this tour company and I look forward to the day I can finally let Mouhou Desert Tours show me their country.
Wonderful 4-day experience! Camel ride into the desert, incredibly comfortable camp in the dunes with a private shower/toilet per tent, incredibly attentive and entertaining staff… Rashid is an exceptional local guide and Hassan a great driver. From the moment we were picked up in Marrakech to the drop off in Fes - the trip was smoothly executed and full of exciting moments.
We had a very good experience with Mouhou tours. We are a family of 5 and I was a bit nervous about what to expect. But everything was arranged perfectly. Communication was very smooth (I would advise to communicate via whatsapp) Our driver was alway spot on time. The tour itself was great , especiallt the part in tge desert. The only downside was that one of our hotels on the tour was fully booked and we would get another hotel of equal level. But this was definetely not the case. But I still want to give a 5 star rating because of our driver Hamid who was a very nice person but more importantly a very good and safe driver.
We had a wonderful time. Our driver, Hamid, was amazing. He is a great driver, timely, calm and very enjoyable. The desert was AMAZING, highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.
We did a private 4 day Fes to Marakesch tour with our Driver Hamid. He is the best and not only showed us the most beautiful spots but also adapted to our preferences, especially regarding Lunch-Spots. The Riads/Hotels were amazing, especially the Antares Desert camp. We were also able to adapt the Hotel-choosings to our liking. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you everyone for your attention to this matter!
We booked a three-day tour from Marrakesh to Fes and had a fantastic time! Be prepared for some long days of driving. If you’d prefer a more relaxed pace with extra time in the desert, consider a four-day tour instead. Our driver, Hassan, was incredibly attentive and friendly, always checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. We also appreciated the flexibility he gave us to decide on activities as we went. The car was very comfortable, and our group was small, with just four people, so it was great that the tour still ran and wasn’t canceled due to group size. We did encounter some issues with our upgraded desert camping option, but Mouhou Tours handled it very professionally, and we were satisfied with the resolution. On the last leg of the journey to Fes, we joined a different group with a new driver and vehicle, so keep in mind you may end up traveling with other groups for parts of the tour. Overall, a memorable experience with great service.
Hussein from Rissani drove us through beautiful Morocco for three days. Our concerns about making the three-day tour of just over 1000 km from Fez to Erg Chebbi and then to Marrakech with two fidgety children quickly dissipated. The tour was varied and the camel rides (Mouhou Desert Camp) and overnight stay in the desert camp were the absolute highlight. But we will also remember the visit to the souk in Rissani. Booking through Mouhou Tours turned out to be a stroke of luck. We could not have asked for a better guide: very friendly, punctual and absolutely professional. We would book him again at any time and can only highly recommend him.
We were hesitant to book at Mouhou as they were a bit exoensive than the others but had the best reviews on trip advisor.. glad. We did as the people are very easy to deal with.. we even had the chance to meet our guide's family (Hamid)... we felt bad on the third day when we were saying goodbye to him as it was like saying goodnye to an old friend.. this tour is a midt for first timers in morocco... big thanks also to our host in the sahara desert, Ismael who was really kind and accomodating... legit and not to be missed tour in morocco... keep up the good work Hamid..
We did the 3 day Fes to Marrakech private tour and I would rate our experience higher only for our guide Omar who was absolutely wonderful. The experience in the camp though was mediocre at best. I knew this would be a bit of the cheesy tourist sort of situation but I wasn’t expecting to not enjoy it. The camel ride to the camp was fun until we happened upon a group of drunk people also on their way to the camp. They basically ruined it for everyone and none of the guys at the camp bothered to intervene. They were screaming and drinking, being disrespectful and causing a scene the entire time they were there. They sucked the life out of the camp and made it so we all felt unwelcome. When it came time for the drum circle, which I really looked forward to, the group of drunk people ruined that too. After about 5 minutes of playing, their guide jumping in and going crazy (probably also intoxicated), the drumming stopped and the group took off with the drummers. Next thing I know, we’re sitting on a dune and see them in the back of a pickup truck flying over the dunes screaming! They came back 40 mins later they finally chilled out a bit around midnight enough so we could sleep. The guys hosting at the camp did nothing or egged this on to the detriment of everyone else. The tents were also hot with no ventilation whatsoever. The “windows” with screens were literally glued shut. This wasn’t “luxury” by any stretch but it was at least clean. I’ll say it again though, Omar, our guide, was phenomenal and he was horrified when we told him what happened. The rest of the tour from Fes to Marrakech was great and we saw so much of gorgeous Morocco. Skip the overnight and just get the guide!
Our guide Hmad was so excellent that we arranged to have him add a day trip to Chefchaoen. All aspects of the trip were wonderful. Strongly recommend.
