3-Night Private Tour of Upper Egypt from Cairo to Luxor

My wife and I are experienced world travelers. Typically we don't use travel agencies to explore a country but we knew we would need assistance to navigate Egypt successfully and easily. So I dug into the internet and found Kemet Travel among a handful of other tour companies. Kemet came out on top for us when we started to create a two week custom itinerary that would help us visit the top sites of Egypt which included a five day four night dahabiya cruise up the Nile river. They were responsive to all our emails answering the many questions we had and offering suggestions about particulars that we never thought of. The moment we stepped off the plane, there was an assistant to help us get through customs, and take us to our hotel for check in. This was just the tip of the ice berg, everyday a guide showed up with a driver to take us to one of the many sites Egypt had to offer. We had top notch service every step of the way, driving us through the busy streets of Cairo, Alexandria, checking us in and out of airports as we flew to Luxor and out of Aswan. It was seamless. Our planner Ahmed Hassenein always let us know the next step. I would receive texts everyday asking us about how we are enjoying the trip, and letting us know who and where we will meet our next guide. We always felt assured, all we had to do was show up and someone was there to take our hand. I never had travel this easy. He quickly became a virtual friend, then one day he took time out of a busy schedule to meet us in person. That showed me how much they cared about personal service. Let's be real, we want to see the monuments but travel is about the experiences you have on the way. The site guides and staff on the dahabiya quickly became our friends. The guides knew their Egyptology, the drivers knew how to drive, the boat staff knew how to serve you because that is their job. However, their pleasant personalities set the room for you to quickly become friends. We came for the monuments but left with many friends. I want to address all the negative comments I've read about Egypt on the internet particularly on Reddit. For years I stayed away from exploring Egypt because of the bad experiences people had travelling Eygpt. Believe me I was a little nervous about even going. During my time there I questioned why negative talk about Egypt while I was having a great adventure. I was talking to a guide about this and the answer was easy -- It's because they didn't hire a guide to help them navigate their travel. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who knows the terrain. You will never regret it The bottom line, Kemet will take care of you and I highly recommend them.
