Stroll through Lucerne’s Old Town with its cobblestone streets, colorful frescoed buildings, and charming squares. Discover historic landmarks, hidden courtyards, and the city’s rich cultural heritage as your guide shares fascinating stories
After exploring the Old Town, we’ll take a short and scenic train ride along the shores of Lake Lucerne. The journey is especially beautiful, with calm blue waters on one side and mountain scenery in the distance.
Afterwards, we’ll take a cable car up to a beautiful mountain plateau above Lake Lucerne, where you’ll enjoy stunning alpine views. At the top, you’ll have some free time to take in the scenery, relax, and admire the sweeping panoramas.
We’ll enjoy a relaxing lake cruise of about one hour back to Lucerne. Glide across the calm waters of Lake Lucerne, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, charming lakeside villages, and picturesque landscapes, before arriving back in the heart of the city.

We loved this itinerary and every stop was very well chosen. Gorgeous views from the cable car and we even got to pet some cows at the top. Guide kept a good pace and was very friendly.
We had a great tour that combines Lucerne Old Town, a nice train ride, cable car to the top of the mountain where we had some time to enjoy a juice/gelato. And at the end finished with a very relaxing lake cruise. Our guide John was very knowledgeable, gave us plenty of insights and was nice to be around him. Well worth the money!!
