Discover the Mellah, the ancient Jewish quarter of Marrakech, a place full of history and emotions. Nestled in the heart of the medina, a stone’s throw from the Bahia Palace, this district tells the story of the harmonious coexistence between the cultures that shaped the soul of the Red City. Mellah was once home to a thriving Jewish community known for its expertise in the trade of spices, jewellery and precious fabrics. Strolling through its narrow streets, peaceful and moving testimony to a vibrant past.
Then we will visit the Bahia Palace, an old nineteenth century palace, a true haven of peace which is one of the sumptuous dwellings of Morocco with spectacular architecture.
Madrasa Ben Youssef, Marrakech Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the largest Koranic school in Morocco. Founded in the 14th century and beautifully rebuilt by the Saadians in the 16th, Madrasa Ben Youssef amazes with its bright patios, colorful mosaics and finely carved woodwork.
